So I came across this slice of life on a free article and press release site here.

This is an article of publicity article to try and call attention to Jeff Katz personal opinions expressed on his radio show.

I listen to Mr. Katz daily and would like to rebutt these lies and hypocrisy shown below.

I respect the right of this group to have a boycott and urge others to join in. This is the backbone of America to be allowed to express their opinion about Jeff Katz. This is the same thing Mr. Katz does, he expresses his opinion to which he is equally entitled. I hope they are retional enough to understand he and they both have the same right…..you cant have one without the other.

Calling Jeff Katz show to be “filled with hate” is a pretty bad interpretation of the truth, or perhaps just a lie with an agenda. As shown below the primary complain is that Jeff Katz calls Islam the “religion of peace” with sarcasm, which is exactly what he does. Jeff does not find Islam to be peaceful, and he states that with sarcasm, which is his right to do so and is offensive only to the extremely thin skinned at best.

Jeff also repeatedly invites these people to come on the show and speak. I agree Jeff doesnt give them equal time on the air, but he does invite them to call and speak on his show. Mr Katz does not owe anyone “his” air time, so any invitation is extremely professional.

I again agree he is short with people that disagree with his stances, but it is his show, and they do get a chance to speak on his time and his platform. This free speech is exactly what he too is entitled to.

In America we welcome any Islamic supporting hosts to start and support radio braodcasts, you have the platform to do so in America, and I personally would not spend my energy boycotting your free speech.

I fond the somments below that Jeff is “inciting fear, hatred and ignorance”, completely intolerable. I dont think the “pot has ever called the kettle black so openly”. I wont claim to be an expert n the Islam faith, and I like to believe that people are the same all over the world and generally good, but like JEFF states on his show I am eager to here local Islamic leaders step up and comdemn the actions of their own groups. If you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem, this is almost always Jeff’s main drivinbg point and his frustration.

I leave this post an open invitation to the petition members to reply or even publish their own article here on our site. I will be contacting members of their site to offer space for a rebuttal. I too find Jeff’s methods a bit blunt, but he often delivers a valid point with his broad strokes. I will happily publish the feelings and intelligent reply or article about your wishes for better understanding.

I will tastefully publish any article you supply us to share your rebutt and peaceful community goals.

“Some local Muslims are urging people to boycott advertisers of WBT’s “Jeff Katz Show,” saying the conservative radio talker insults their religion with “hate-filled” comments on the air.

At a Wednesday news conference, Jibril Hough of the Charlotte-based Islamic Political Party of America charged that Katz speaks mockingly about Muslims and showcases only critics of Islam on his 3-6 p.m. show at 1110 AM.

“His agenda has been one of inciting fear, hatred and ignorance against Muslims,” said Hough, who is also spokesman for the Islamic Center of Charlotte. “His type of rhetoric would not be allowed against any other minority community …”

Asked for specifics, Hough said Katz sarcastically refers to Islam as “the religion of peace”; distorts passages in the Koran, the Muslims’ sacred book; calls Muslims who disagree with him “apologists for terrorists”; and refuses to let Hough and other Muslims speak on his show.
