Observer Lies For BOA
In the past I have ignored my differences of opinion with the Observer as a sort of professional courtesy, but today’s agenda driven spin is too much to deal with. I have officially added a category for Observer spin based on my unease with this story they ran today.
Well today the Gaston County Commission did what all American’s should be doing and chose to not do any business with companies that sell out American’s.
The Commissioner closed the count’s account with Bank Of America due to their program that blatently markets to illegal immigrants. In 2006, he said, the average daily balance for the county’s account was $10 million.
The county chooses not to aid know criminals which is the target audince for this program. Any “pretend” reporter that prteneds that these cards are not solely targetting criminal aliens in the US, should read the plain facts here.
These cards are test marketed in the county with the HIGHEST percentage of illegals in the nation.
These cards offer “Mexicana airline miles to users ( no other country).
The application specifies it accepts a Mexican Consular ID card (no other country).
Or maybe these pretend reporters can take one look at the ACTUAL BROCHURE from the WT Harris location branch of bank Of America and tell me with a straight face that this card isn’t solely intended for Illegal Mexican Born Immigrants.
I think after readers see their “story”, and then see ours, and that brochure, you will be thinking about cancelling your subscription to the Observer as you now know it to be an immigration propaganda tool.
So to Jefferson George and Rick Rothacker at the Charlotte Observer need to really stop writing half truths.
It is plain to everyone who does any research that these cards target Mexican born illegal immigrants primarily.
What compounds the issue is that Jefferson George and Rick Rothacker at the Charlotte Observer compound the problem by writing a spin story that says the county is wrong for doing this.
The funny twist is that while searching for a bio for Jefferson George, all I could find was other online articles pointing out his spin style writing of stories in the past. Like here for example. The second twist is that he wrote an article about the Rampant Population growth of Charlotte here. In this article he talks about the 30,000 home builder jobs, but never puts one and one together to say the rise in population is in part due to the rise in illegal immigrants in Charlotte.
Back to the story of today:
The second paragraph of the propaganda story states:
“Gaston commissioners last week declined to award a four-year contract for banking services to the Charlotte bank — a decision that could cost the county about $120,000.”
I am in disbelief that this is what these semi-reporters found to be the primary facts in the story. I have not seen such a case of blatent agenda in the Observer in a loing time.
They dont choose to report the strong ethical choice of Gaston County, nor do they report much about this being an EFFECT ad not a cause that results from the crimes of foreign ilegal immigrants in our cities.
The second part of the story opens up with this obvious slice of propaganda.
“In rejecting Bank of America, the all-Republican board of commissioners told the county’s finance director to investigate Wachovia”
Since when is the political party part of the who, what, where, when and why?
I for one am proud that the “All-American” board made the decision for what is best for Americans, which is the only people they work for.
Then next and last piece of comedy in this “article” by the Charlotte Observer is this quote
“We look forward to meeting with the Gaston County officials,” bank spokeswoman Betsy Weinberger said.”
You can read more about the lies and spin that “America sellout” Betsy Weinberger shovels out here where she said they are not targetting Illegals, though the facts show this to be a blatent lie.
Read our facts and not the observer propaganda immigration spin here at our article entitled Another Bank Of America Liar.
