So how exactly did the candidates fare in the Columbia, SC debate?
My word isn’t law but Ron Paul, Rudy, Tom, Duncan and Mitt all came out loking pretty solid, smart and bold enough to fix all that is wrong with our nation.

The meaning of to be a conservative seems to be back in fashion, as candidates dance around past liberal opinions to try and be what they know America needs, a smart common sense conservative.

So here are our official report cards and reasoning for each candidate and the short list has been made for who will get press time in our news headlines from this day forward.

The grades are in for the debate. This is a rough draft of the eventual article and the grades and details of each grade will change as we get the transcript in. Also check back for detailed video breakdowns of all candidates as soon as it is ready to go live.

U.S. Senator Sam Brownback – C+
Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani – B+
Former Governor Jim Gilmore – C
Former Governor Mike Huckabee – C
U.S. Congressman Duncan Hunter – B
U.S. Senator John McCain – D-
U.S. Congressman Ron Paul – A
Former Governor Mitt Romney – B-
U.S. Congressman Tom Tancredo – B+
Former Governor Tommy Thompson – B-

Ron paul again seemed the smartest and most sincere of the canidates, while Mccain looked like a stuffed animal in his undersized suit that he was sweating through as he read what sounded like cliff notes.

  • Ron Paul videos from the debate here.
  • Mitt Romney videos from the debate.
  • Rudy Giuliani from the debate in Columbia
  • John McCain would be the worst thing to happen to this country in 50 years.

Of the other canidates I see 2 or 3 that could turn America around, namely Rudy, Ron Paul, Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo. All of these guys would have their own seperate strengths and they would make America better and fast.

I think Mitt Romney could make our economy humm, but I neeed to see more of him. Here is a bit from todays SC debate where Mitt Romney reminds us what it means to be conservative. He is such a smart candidate, I would not have a problem with him getting the nod.

Videos pictures and transcript details to back these grades are coming.

Senator Kyle’s editorial in the Wall Street Journal states that the reason he is pushing the compromise bill is his concern about “the lack of respect for the rule of law” if nothing is done. The truth is this proposed law would turn everyone’s (including legal citizens) respect for the rule of law into a laughing stock. This is due to the fact that the proposed law would (without any penalty) via the Z visa grant legal status to illegal immigrants who have broken our current laws. More importantly, the proposed law would hold harmless and turn our Nation into a sancturay for the illegal immigrants who have commited more serious crimes including: Gang members; ID Thefts, Absconders and Members of Terrorists Cells in our country illegally. It seems to me that a better name for the proposed compromise bill is the “Terrorist’s Are Welcome Here Law”.
