meat in VenezuelaHere is a bit of reality for those idiots cheering for Hugo Chvez and his communist dictatorship that he likes to call “21st century socialism”.

What do you get when you destroy all free markets and let the government and military run every aspect of your country? You get Cuba and North Korea and no food for the people to eat.

The reasons are very complex but of a very simple origin: the price control policies and the currency exchange regulation.

Price control and communism in the economics of a nation do not work, have never worked and will never work other than the politicians stealing the nations money to supply their own vanity.

And no one has more vanity and less idea of how to run a country than the Hugo Chavez.

Enjoy the images from the award winning blog Daniel Venezuela. I hope this helps to educate those who thinks Hugo Chavez “loves the poor” when his ignorance in economics will be crashing down on them soon enough.

mayo-rack-200705.jpgEnjoy these new and factual pictures from this week taken in an UPSCALE supermarket in Venezuela.

See how the store fills the holes in the food shelves to hide the ongoing communist food shortage in Chavez’s country.

See the pics here also.

Long shelves with one single loaf of bread left and bottled water to fill in the aisle that normally would have cooking oil, to hide the fact that there is no cooking oil available.

Next time you see a leberal leftist trying to get support with handouts of any sort, know that this is the path they look towards for long term servitude.

No Meats in Venezuela
The case of meat and milk is particularly clear: price controls and land invasions without adequate compensation while the new “owners” lack the skills and resources to take over the seized land has created a diminution of the number of cow heads in Venezuela.

No Vegetable Oil Anymore
The currency exchange control shows in the lack of other items such as Mayonnaise or cooking oil. Some of the additives cannot be imported because CADIVI, the control agency is not emitting on time foreign exchange requests.

No Sugar in Venezuela
Sugar scarcity is a pure product of the land seizure policies: many of those, such in Yaracuy, were taken out of sugar cane production to produce who knows what.

SEE THE PICS of the markets that have no products to sell from an actual resident living in the new communist revolution in Venezuela.

And if you think thats just being over dramatic, you can read some of the comments from other readers in Venezuela enjoying Chavez’s socialist revolution:

“Today I went to buy a couple of things, you know -not “el mercado grande”-. Didn’t find any eggs, margarine, meat, chicken, my brand of Cola, mini yogurts, etc. I noticed the lack of mayo, saw a lot imported tuna cans, french butter, pricy chocolates, toys.. you get the picture. It is just stuff to fill up the aisles.”
