“It’s his bill, it’s not our bill,” Reid told reporters. “It can’t pass unless we get significant Republican support.”

Already Harry Reid is trying to distance himself from the bill that has divided the congress and wasted our time and money trying to legalize those who break the laws for big business sake.

The pressure of losing their jobs from the voters that oppose the bill is apparently too much for most. While alot of people on both sides are trying to force their wishes on senators, they must remember the pro amnesty calls are coming in from 12 million non voting non social security number carrying illegals.

Senators cant be saved from the voting out of office by criminal aliens. Illegals cant vote, so they are forced to listen to the majority of America that opposes this amnesty for illegals bill.

Americans don’t want amnesty, Mexicans do want amnesty…..its good to see that after just a few months senators finally figured out who they are in office to serve, and who can and cannot vote next election.

The 33 lawmakers voting to limit debate on the plan were 27 short of the 60 needed to move toward final passage. Democrats scheduled another vote for later this evening. Senator Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts, a chief negotiator, said it was “touch and go” whether enough members would agree to curtail debate.

If a second vote fails, “the bill’s gone,” said Democratic Leader Harry Reid of Nevada. “What else can I do?” He appealed to President George W. Bush to twist the arms of 47 Republicans who voted not to limit debate, saying the legislation’s demise would produce headlines that “the president fails again.”

After all his effort, Harry Reid is such a scumbag that he is trying to blame his own failures on the President while its still on the floor. This is a democrat backed bill, this is a liberal bill….but honest Americans dont support this bill.

Those who are going to win on the death of this bill are honest Americans, those who will lose are the Democrats and traitor republicans that voted for this bill and will be voted out of office for their actions at the next election.

There will be no anchor-baby voters to save your jobs, you will all be voted out by the majority that you have turned your backs on.

Amnesty started under Republican watch. Breaking the law never was a good idea.

I agree, and those like McCain and Bush linked republicans too will get the backlash of this selling out of America.

I was fascinated to watch the losers stand up afterwards and tell stories of poor immigrant children that will never get to goto college and now have to pick onions.. (REID SPEECH)

Hesays what can she do…..well Perhaps we should be asking President Calderon that question…

why is it this Mexican citizen cant goto college? What IS HE DOING TO HELP HER?

I cant goto college in Mexico either, but im not looking for sympathy, I know its just not my country to be doing that in.
