“No group OWNS being an American”
- Lindsey Graham to La Raza

“We are going to tell the bigots to shut up.”
- Lindsey Graham referring to Legal Americans.

“And I don’t do this much, but I want to thank Ted Kennedy!”
- Senator Lindsay Graham.

Our official countdown clock is only on the homepage for now here.

If you found your way here from our exposure on Michelle Malkin’s Blog or CBS news, we ask you to please add a link to our site on your site or blogroll. We are faced with alot of liberal competition in Charlotte and appreciate your help.

If you don’t want Amnesty, Lindsey Graham says your a bigot and you should shut up.

At a pro illegal immigrant speech to racist La Raza, Graham is telling “la Raza” that apparently honest Americans that want the current laws enforced are racists and he will silence us for them.

The laws on the books that were put in place BY SENATORS, and now we are biggots because he wont do his job and serve the honest people of America.

So, for this reason we will be counting down the days till the people in South Carolina tell this racist sellout to shut up and hand him his walking papers for his actions against the voters that supported him.

NOTICE: Please read this post and Support Tim Carnes for SC senate. All those pledging to take down Lindsey Graham, please help Tim Carnes be heard.

Too bad for Senor Graham most of those La Raza supporters are not allowed to vote in the United States, though they are able to vote in their own countries I would wager.

More here about the hate speech Graham gave to La Raza.

About 500 days left till South Carolina voters can let Lindsey Graham know what they think of his tireless efforts to legalize 12-20 million illegal aliens.

97% of voters in South Carolina opposed the bill and Graham was giving speeches to racist “la Raza” (The Race) about how the United States “doesnt belong to anybody”.

lindseymc.jpgCareer change coming: Perhaps the people of South Carolina will show in force that their state does indeed belong to honest Americans.

A reminder will be sent in the Republican primary that this kind of backstabbing of the people you represent will not be tolerated by the voters.

A disgrace to the Conservative base of South Carolina that can easily be dealt with at the polls.

I look forward to Lindsey helping out those doing the jobs Americans dont want when he is scooping fries. I dont wish ill on anyone, but the shame of turning your back on the will of 90% of your state deserves whatever it brings you.

A good example of what the people in South Carolina really want for America can be read here.

This is a collection of CNN polls on the candidates for presidency in 2008, the polls taken in South Carolina.

You will see that McCain, though to be a frontrunner, came in last in every poll since he is for amnesty for illegals.

South Carolinians do not want amnesty, but Graham is pushin for exactly what nobody in his state wants. He defies 90% of the states Americans so he can appease criminals and La Raza.

Whatever it is, the people of South Carolina should count the days left in having the smug and lying face of Senator Graham represent them.

His actions have embarrassed the state and region and all honest Americans within it.

“Lindsey Graham, as a ‘once’ popular Republican incumbent in strongly conservative South Carolina, is unlikely to be vulnerable to a Democratic challenge, though he is expected to face opposition in the Republican primary.[citation needed] Graham’s support for a compromise immigration bill has drawn an angry response from many South Carolina conservatives, which could help fuel a primary challenge.”

It’s hard to believe that a supposedly intelligent individual (Republican, no less) would sacrifice his career for a bill authored by Ted Kennedy. But, just when I thought I’d seen it all, along comes Lindsey Graham

  2. robert bosich on June 8th, 2007 11:19 pm

    Patriots.

It is your America for your children and grandchildren.

Always remember your relatives who worked quietly without benefits, social security, health care and sacrificed to make it better for their kids and communities…THEY WERE TRUE AMERICANS.

Never ever turn over America to illegal aliens or foreign invaders.

    Don’t tread on me!

With the shelving of the Kennedy-McCain amnesty bill, we have won a battle, but the war is far from over. I’m sure that LaRaza and big business will redouble their efforts to get this bill pushed through. We have to keep up the pressure too. If you’ve already called your senators, DO IT AGAIN. Let them know you’re still paying attention. We should also start to work on the House of Reps. Call yours AT LEAST once a week and give him/her an earful. Tell them that since this bill is stalled we can still enact the laws that are already on the books. Last year the House and Senate passed and Senor Bush signed a bill to build hundreds of miles of fence. (even more fence than what is in the Amnesty Bill) Where is it? We have laws against employers who hire illegal immigrants, yet only FOUR employers were charged last year. Call the White House (it’s toll free) and ask why the Bush administration made this a low priority. WE HAVE THE MOMENTIUM, DON’T SLOW DOWN NOW!! Let’s take our country back.

So I guess Mr. Graham thinks all the men and women who fought from the very beginning, the very birth of this great country until today, and died for our great country had or deserved no ownership to it, they just died for nothing…our military heros are rolling over in there graves at the thought of this man serving in “OUR” the Peoples United States Senate!!

    Dump Lindsay Graham…

A movement is born. South Carolinians are fed up wth Senator Hissy: Here. And here. And here’s a “Lindsay Graham Countdown Clock.”……

  7. Dawn on June 9th, 2007 2:38 pm

Americans that I know have no problem with legal immigrants comming here. What part of illegal do these Senators not understand? I am not a bigot or a racist to want people to follow the law. I welcome with open arms any immigrant who has come here legal.

I say send them all home and give citizenship to all the people who have been waiting 10 or so years to be an American. What needs fixing is the process of immigration. Insane to reward law breakers.

  8. Diana on June 9th, 2007 2:58 pm

I will be sending my donations to anyone that runs against Lindsay.

  9. Joseph McNulty on June 9th, 2007 3:13 pm

I find myself in the unusual spot of being a Republican who feels that the party has left its “Main Steet” roots in favor of “Wall Street” and big money. The social conservatives seem to embarass the party — all those grubby Christians who go to those mega-churches. I would join and support a Nationalist or Conservative Party. I don’t know what I am, but I am no longer a Republican. Make this clear, I do not resent or hate migrants. I am not so concerned about the 12 million who are here now, and I would be in favor of a simple amnesty for them on condition that they learn English and swear allegiance to this country as a basis for citizenship. My favorite columist is Dr. Thomas Sowell, so I am no reflective “racist.” My concern is that the next wave of illegal immigration will be 40 million, in which case America will be a different country. Make no mistake, the Democrats will find some way to make immigrants registered voters sooner rather than later. The Republican and the support of Bush for this approach to immigration is going to kill the Republican Party for 30 years. This wave of illegal immigration must be stopped, or we will not have a country. Is economics to rule everything? What happened to culture? “In diversity is our strength” is a slogan, not a fact. Name one country where diversity is a strength? Yugoslavia? Indonesia? Brazil? Canada? Russia? China? It is a myth. Anyone coming here to work should be willing to become an American and take an Anerican history course, learn English, and swear allegiance to America. If the border is truly controlled, I am willing to be generous to those who are here now. But no chain migration, “anchor babies” or parallel society with a helot caste of “guest workers.” Is Lindsay Graham crazy or what? Get rid of him. He is a menace who, unfortunately, has “grown” in office and decided that he does not want to represent those “rednecks” in South Carolina, or at least he knows what is best for them. I suspect he heard this at the country club, whose members want cheap gardeners, construction workers, maids, and child care. God help us.

I will not be giving money to the RNC this election cycle. I already wrote them and said take me off your mailing list! I will, however, support and send money to a candidate that primaries Lindsey Graham and in the future John Kyl.
This issue is so maddening to me and these politicians do not see how bad it is for our country. Very scary how they are not seeing what their constituents demand from them. Enforce the Border first!

  11. Dale Corbin on June 9th, 2007 3:51 pm

It is obvious that if they enforce the existing laws and make the employers and landlords get proper id the illegals will leave on their own. Word will spread problem solved . This is about people in power making money and nothing else. They know it and we know it.They use words like racism just to divert attention .Illegals aren’t the only criminals here.We must let our voices be heard loud and clear until we can vote these traitors out of office.

  12. Freedom's Truth on June 9th, 2007 3:53 pm

To make sure that the dragon of amnesty-for-illegals is really slain, here is what the conservative Republican base needs to have …
    OPERATION PAYBACK:
    1. Defeat Lindsay Graham in the GOP primary.
    2. Defeat Chuck Hagel in the GOP primary next year or force him to quit.
    3. End John McCain’s presidential hopes.
    4. Defeat all pro-amnesty Democrat Senators next year. They include:
    - Biden, Joseph Yes
    - Durbin, Richard Yes
    - Harkin, Tom Yes
    - Kerry, John Yes
    - Lautenberg, Frank Yes
    - Levin, Carl Yes
    - Reed, Jack Yes
    5. Serve notice to all other ‘squishy’ GOP types that their misbehavior on immigration must end and we must have a united GOP behind the idea of “Enforcement First”.
    6. Continue to pressure the White House to give up their Amnesty-Jihad. No rhetorical support for a White House that disses its own base, until it throws in the towel.

  13. Freedom's Truth on June 9th, 2007 3:55 pm

I hope SC voting Republicans can soon find a conservative replacement for the RINO Daschle/Kennedy/Clinton pal Lindsey Graham.

  14. Nancy Robertshaw on June 9th, 2007 4:13 pm

I thought I would never vote for another Democrat in my lifetime, but I guess I did. Lindsay Graham had me fooled. Because of Lindsay and others like him, I no longer am supporting the RNC or the NRCC. I never thought I would ever find myself in this position and I am saddened to say the very least. We have to get rid of him because he is an embarrassment to the great State of SC. I surely hope that someone will run against him. The countdown clock has begun.

  15. kris perry on June 9th, 2007 4:18 pm

I just faxed Senator Graham’s office a copy of one of my checks, in the amount of $500.00, made out to “Any serious cadidate running against Senator Graham in the Republican primary” - and I am not even from his state, but will make good on this offer. I fear this may be to no avail, for the Senator is either now so out-of-touch that he believes he is invincible, and just scoff at the idea his constituents would actually want to replace him, or he has become mentally unstable,– because, for the life of me, I cannot understand why he is committing this political suicide. -Maybe he is vying for the vice-pres. spot on a McCain ticket! Kris Perry, Frisco, Texas

  16. Linda Walls on June 9th, 2007 4:40 pm

I hope the people of SC gives Graham the boot but I have been reading that he probably will NOT have a primary challenger. And if there is one reminder, remember that the Senate election committee gives money to ALL incumbants even in the primary and if the challenger happens to win, the quite often deny funds in the general election. This needs to stop! The committee needs to stay out of the primaries and then support the candidate that the Republican voters choose. (Novel concept here).

  17. Bob on June 9th, 2007 5:25 pm

Mr. Kraft, I support your position wholeheartedly. However, with all due respect, I recommend you enlist the services of a spell-checker on your material. It’s “bigot,” not “biggot.” With the likes of Senator Graham deriding us as know-nothings, it behooves us to avoid such elementary errors.

  18. lee kostantinakis on June 9th, 2007 5:28 pm

I will make a substantial donation to WHOEVER runs against Lindsay(Little Opie)Graham. Everyone needs to do the same and commit to it. It is Rinos like this that are allowing our country to slowly be whittled away at by the Enemies within.. stripping our Nation of its Language, Borders and Culture, all the while demanding the American People pick up the Tab for it and like it or be labeled a “Biggot”! This guy needs to get boo-ed off the stage wherever he goes…. there needs to be a Cindy Sheehan “type” of movement nipping at his heels. BTW..Where does this guy live? Perhaps someone can “Google Map/Earth” it — like some upstanding Americans did to Rumsfeld. Why.. the good senator certainly wouldn’t mind opening his home to UNannounced “strangers” would he? After all, he Expects us “biggots” to do the very same for Criminals (that is what we still call someone who breaks the Law isn’t it?) The Hypocricy coming from this MediaWhore is nothing short of astounding only to be outdone by Senator McCain who thinks he has a snowballs chance in hell at becoming the GOP Nominee. Someone needs to ask McCain a few questions too.. like “why did you, along with Senator John F Kerry, shred POW documents in the 90s?” and “Why would You show up on a SNL “skit” half naked in a shower with a woman and then expect to be taken seriously for President?” There is only one other politician that bugs me more than these two.. and its Arlen Spector but he doesnt pretend to be anything other than what he is…a Teddy K A**kisser. Personally I believe these guys have been blackmailed for something in their past.. and the Dem Leadership owns them all.. there is just no other excuse for their behavior.. If you have one.. let me know.

  19. Robert-Los Angeles on June 9th, 2007 5:35 pm

Dear South Carolina citizens: I live in the epicenter of illegal immigration, Los Angeles CA. You are doing the right thing by trying to save your state. Mine is lost. We have a Mayor (Antonio Villaraigosa) who is a member of La Raza an anti American group dedicated to the take over of California, Texas and Arizona. “La Raza” translated means “The Race” as in their Mexican race. Do not think that it can’t happen to your state as well, every business is bilingual here in Los Angeles. There is a chain of Departments stores called Mervyns here on the west coast, they speak Spanish mostly and have to find a clerk to help you if you want some help in English. 10 years ago our schools were only 50 percent latino, now most are 75-97 percent latino! Stop Senator GrahamNesty before it is too late.

  20. lee kostantinakis on June 9th, 2007 5:36 pm

This is for Bob… I am also to be blamed for the very same spelling error.. wish I had read your post just a few minutes before I sent mine. Point very well taken!

  21. katablog on June 9th, 2007 5:37 pm

Bless you Charlotte Conservative News. You are one of few patriotic American News publications.

WE THE PEOPLE need to fight back with a vengeance on this piece of s**T illegal immigration bill - regardless of what our own leaders call us. It has nothing to do with who is coming over our borders - it was to do with how they are coming over our borders - ILLEGALLY.

You better believe Americans own being an American! It’s not an idea, it’s a legal concept along with legal documentation.

  22. katablog on June 9th, 2007 5:44 pm

BTW, don’t forget that Senator Sam Brownback from the state of KS is running for the GOP too. He was another sellout senator who supported Shamnasty.

Shamnasty - a word borrowed from Michelle Malkin but it fits wonderfully since the bill is:

    a sham
    a shame
    and full of HAM (pork)
    and it’s Nasty

  23. roydee43 on June 9th, 2007 7:27 pm

In the 500 some odd days till the next primaries set up a coin jar for savings. Just a quarter a day will add up to over $100 by primary time. Encourage your friends to do the same. We all know the difference between money and talk.

  24. Dick Stafford on June 9th, 2007 7:32 pm

Did anyone else just watch Fox News Beltway Boys?

They are pushing for Reid to put the Amnesty Bill back

on the table and giving him hints on how to get it passed.

  25. Debra on June 9th, 2007 8:09 pm

I saw the Beltway Boys, and there is nothing the senate can do with this bill except put it in the nearest dumpster next to Graham, McCain, Kennedy, and the rest of the amnesty loving crowd….as far as the american people are concerned the only immigration bill that should be put before the senate is a border security, no amnesty, real punishment for employers who hire illegals, no social service give aways, and follow the laws that are already on the books bill…I just don’t understand why our leaders don’t get it, it is so simple, and they claim to be the ones with such intellect….maybe that’s the problem, they have so much intellect that they have no common sense.

    Debra

  26. Jill on June 9th, 2007 8:27 pm

this is the problem with too many of our current politicians, we elect them and then they think it’s ok to “do whatever they decide, as opposed to what their constituents want”

they seem to forget that no one gives a rat’s ass “how smart” they think they are, they were elected for one reason and one reason only…to be our voice. when they fail to fulfill that duty, it’s time to kick their sorry asses to the curb infavor of someone else who does understand exactly what the job entails!!!!

  27. Jill on June 9th, 2007 8:56 pm

What a disappointment! Get rid of him!!

  28. Stand Tall on June 9th, 2007 9:00 pm

I don’t live in SC but feel betrayed by Senator Graham and other Republicans who supported the recent attempt to grant amnesty to millions of lawbreaking illegal aliens. I can’t vote in the SC election, but I will contribute money to defeat Lindsey Graham in his next election.

  29. G. Chell on June 9th, 2007 10:50 pm

Without a primary challenge, the voters in SC will vote for Lindsay Graham and Kraft is going to be bitterly disappointed!!

  30. Donald Reinhardt on June 9th, 2007 11:01 pm

I have been copying and pasting E-mails to my Georgia Senators- Saxby Chambliss and Johnny Issacson, also sending to Senators John McCain, Lindsey Graham,Kyle,DeMINT AND John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutcheson and am expanding the list and writing. This is the biggest issue in US History in decades. It is all awack. No real border control.Fences not being built. Border agents arrested and imprisoned for doing their jobs. Drugs and terrorists streaming across. We have so many illegals Washington is going to now throw a 600 pageLaRaza-Kennedy law at them. Illegals will use what they like and abuse what they do not. I am not racist. I am anti-crime and obey the law. When there are no building jobs, when houses are foreclosed on and there are no lawns to cut and trim, when citizens have to save money by doing most of their own work all these illegals now made legal with little education will be on welfare, voting and permamnantly changing the face of the United States (of Mexico). Never have we been invaded by so many illegals. Their relatives will follow by the millions. In Mexico YOU as US citizens cannot do what they do here. Stay illegally, enter illegally. You cannot use the public dole, hospitals, schools with impunity. We are just too nice. Unfortunately, we are too distracted with several wars and terrorists within and without foaming at the mouth wanting to bomb, nuke and harm us in so many other ways. These are very, very tough times. Fight hard, fight well and be not afraid.

  31. Jon Baker on June 9th, 2007 11:33 pm

Dear People of South Carolina. Please understand, Here in Texas I have known many Hispanics, and most are kind hard working folks. Just tonight I saw an Anglo (white) man and a hispanic woman getting married. I like that. I have dated one Hispanic Girl myself. But the rate of immigration that is happening is too fast for many of them to assimilate and I fear many have loyalties more to Mexico and LA RASA than to the US. It has been found that here in Texas thousands of illegals have registered to vote and some actually did vote. ( http://www.texasinsider.org/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=77 )
The Republicans in the Texas State Senate tried to make it harder for illegals to vote but the Texas Democrats, which you can translate as LA RASA, blocked that effort. Make your voter registration secure for citizens only while you still can! It is too late for Texas, short of war. One Hispanic State Senator had the audacity to claim that he had never heard of any complaints about illegals voting!!

It is no wonder the PRI stayed in power for 70 years in Mexico! Save yourselves while you still can! You as a US citizens cannot even write a letter to the editor in Mexico, but they are sending colonists across the border to vote without citizenship and then defending their right to do so. It is organized subversion.

  32. Mike on June 9th, 2007 11:47 pm

G CHell, or the emds will run a moderate or somewhat conservative candidate and take the seat from him. A few good commecials of his La Raza Speech and interview some local contractors losing their business to illegals and he will be no more int he state.

  33. Mike on June 9th, 2007 11:51 pm

    Bob,

    Bob on June 9th, 2007 5:25 pm

That word Bigot is cut anbd paste from another source, its an accurate quoting.

Youll see in this line “Lindsay graham says your a biggot and you should shut up.
At a pro illegal immigrant speech to racist La Raza” I used two G’s as I wrote that.

I am bad on spelling and always writing on my laptop or cell so I dont check speeling well enough often, but this one isnt mine.

I will edit it anyhow, but so you know.

  34. JohnSobieski on June 10th, 2007 12:58 am

What is intriquing is Dr. Evil (Jorge Bush) and the ‘evil ones’ are plotting to revive the bill. The big push is going to be Tuesday when Bush drops in on the Rep. Senators’ luncheon. They should set him straight but I believe they won’t. Kyl won’t let them. They may but Bush doesn’t care, he is Emperor and they are led by his subservient courtiers and sycophants. Insolence will not be tolerated in the Emperor’s court! Such is the state of the American Republican party.

The Republican Committee RNC must ask Martinez to resign immediately and promote someone opposed to amnesty to that position or the RNC will be doomed.

  35. Jack Hamilton on June 10th, 2007 1:16 am

Mr Graham and his butt buddy Teddy Kennedy want amnesty because they want to build a cheap subserviant labor pool to tend there kids, wash there cloths, cook there meals. shine there shoes, and Chase there golf balls. Because that is the only type of balls they have. They do not give a crap about the American construction worker that used to be able to support his family with that job or the American that worked at the packing plant that they dumped for an illegal Mexican that will work for six bucks an hour. They want that cheap labor to service there needs and American working men and women can be damned.

  36. Michael Kraft on June 10th, 2007 2:25 am

I hate to leave terms that make us (the correct 75%), look bad like “butt buddy” as you put above. But its just so funny I cant possible edit that out. Thats some A+ usage of a term I left in high school :)

Perhaps its a dont ask dont tell policy in the senate as well?

Makes it hard for the pages to know who to look out for?

  37. Bill on June 10th, 2007 5:37 am

I feel heartened by the fact that the right side of this issue is gaining momentum but the fact that their is talk of trying to bring this bill back again is just too much for me to comprehend given the push that was made to get rid of it. I too will commit to financially back any primary opponent of any Senator who supported this bill. They all need to be challenged. Maybe we could get rid of a substantial number of them. Those of us in blue states have to work particularly hard this time around. Yes, it’s time to throw the bums out (especially Graham} and take the country back. If we can wait out Bush and elect the right presidential candidate {Tancredo}, this problem will go away.

  38. Fritz on June 10th, 2007 7:26 am

It’s sickening to see how long Hissy Graham has been able to claim to be a Republican. Do you remember how he intentionally botched the clinton impeachment trial? Now we are learning a lot about how the left, the internationalists, …our enemies, have taken over the Republican party. I fear that we will have to kill it off because it’s so poisoned.

It will be a long way back for those of us who love America, who understand it’s not “luck” that put us here but, instead, the sacrifices and love of our hard-working ancestors. God help us to prevail, and to save their work four our descendants.

  39. Dave on June 10th, 2007 8:28 am

The amnesty bill that was paraded before WE THE PEOPLE has convinced me to leave the Republican Party. Senator Martinez turned His back on Florida voters and convinced me that I am no longer a Republican.

  40. Larry on June 10th, 2007 10:10 am

Perhaps it is time for a true third party in the good ‘ol USofA . A “National Conservative Party” made up of those of us who truly believe in conservative principals and ideals. Just a thought.

  41. KC Collier on June 10th, 2007 10:20 am

I’m a Republican living in Florida and will send any primary rival of Senator Graham a hefty contribution.

  42. Mark1021 on June 10th, 2007 11:14 am

Republican living is SC. Haven’t voted for a dem since 1976 but will vote for the dem, any dem, that opposes Lindsay. If I’m going to represented by a dem, I want one willing to go by the name.

Hoping it doesn’t come to this. Maybe Gov Sanford or Rep Wilson (2nd district) will be willing to take Lindsey out. But I’m not counting on it.

  43. Frank Saxon on June 10th, 2007 2:35 pm

I’m not going to worry about spelling;I’m just mad as hell about what that little commie creep said about us. Being from SC you can probably guess I’m not to proud of the pansy we have for a senior senator. If there is anyone out there who knows of a viable challenger to that prick, let me know. I haven’t got alot of money, but I do have plenty of time, and a viceral hate for that S.O.B.; I can be alot of help with the veteran vote, ( member VFW, American Legion, Order of the Purple Heart, and DAV). e-mail twoninerkilo@yahoo.com; contact me.

  44. John D on June 10th, 2007 3:06 pm

Being from Arizona, I have two (2) RINO’s to replace, BUT I will still contribute what I can to anyone who will run against Graham. It is time to tell them …

    ENOUGH is ENOUGH !!

  45. Mr.Ed Nine on June 10th, 2007 3:24 pm

We can easily and very securely close the border betweenUSA and Mexico and at very little expense.
We simply plant land mines along our border where the most illegal people come across.Put up large signs there in Spanish and English to warn them. “Stop! “You will be killed if you walk on this ground.”Land mines.
Then if any of them do not believe the signs and come on across into our country they could be killed or seriously wounded. That would be THEIR fault, not ours.Soon the word would get around and all illegaql crossing would immediately stop.Very effective!

  46. 4gotnblud on June 10th, 2007 6:00 pm

The RNC and Bush deserve a great deal of credit in destroying the republican party. We all need to seek an alternative. I suggest the Constitution Party. It follows our constitution and founding fathers. Do not support the RNC! Also, forget our alternative to MSM; Fox News is toeing the Bush line and is only interested in politics, not policies. They do not have a true conservative in their core group. The only venue to obtain the truth is through talk radio and blogs. Do not let them push their (MSM) first tier (only the candidates that have a chance) Presidential candidates into office. Look at the candidates that demonstrate their conservative values: Tancredo, Hunter, Huckabee. MSM (including Fox News) wants us to forget about them. Can anyone identify a true conservative among this group: McCain, Guilioni, Brownback, Romney, Thompson? And don’t fall for the entry of Fred Thompson (look at his record). I would love to see a candidate with Gingrich’s ideas and Malkin’s fire. Finally, don’t think the fight is over. They will continue to resurrect Amnesty until the heat is intolerable or it is passed. If only they would enforce the immigration laws on the books! Maybe Judicial Watch could file a lawsuit that could pressure them to enforce border and immigration laws. I am ready for Bush’s impeachment; not for the conduct of the war but for failure to uphold the security of this great nation by securing our borders from invasion.

  47. exDemocrat on June 10th, 2007 7:14 pm

If Bush and company expended this much energy and obsession on the surpport of our troops in Iraq (including weekly telecast keeping us posted and WHY we need to be fighting over there), the Iraqi would be over.

Geez. And I thought I had *left* the Democrat Party. Joe Lieberman is more conservative than Graham, Spector, Hagel, ad nauseum.

I just contacted Governor Sanford by e-mail and wrote the following:
I am not from South Carolina, but have worked there and visited often while living in Georgia, and I love your state and its people. The purpose of this e-mail is to contact you in regard to your stance on the illegal immigration issue, and if you believe South Carolinians are receiving good representation in this matter from Senator Graham. I, and many other Republicans like me, are in search of a viable candidate from your state that does not approve of the job Senator Graham is doing to represent South Carolinians, –a person willing to challenge him in the Republican primary, and your name has been mentioned. I am willing to send my contributions to this person, as many others certainly will. I hope that you do not view this an an intrusion into South Carolina politics, but we are all Americans, and Senator Graham, with his excessive media exposure (and many of his votes), is doing great harm to the Republcan party and more importantly to this nation.(Not to mention my blood pressure!) Thank you for your time.—-

I just hope that he reads it. Kris from Texas

  49. exDemocrat on June 10th, 2007 8:38 pm

    @4gotnblud:

“And don’t fall for the record of Fred Thompson”…..there is nothing to “fall for” with Fred Thompson other than perhaps the McCain-Feingold debacle (which Fred acknowledges).

Fred has 100% conservative ratings by many groups on many issues. Fred will be the most conservative AND the most electable candidate for the Republicans in ‘08.

  50. Mary Melough on June 10th, 2007 9:55 pm

There has to be a way that the South Caroliners can recall illegal lover Graham. You have my sympathy. Here in Los Angeles we know ahead of election time who we are getting - Feinstein and Boxer, with all the illegals in this state. Who else?

I hope you defeat that RINO. I live in Virginia, and we have our own, Senator John Warner. He also is voting for this bs, and he voted in support of terrorist rights. These losers have to go, time to clean house.

  53. Tar and Feathers on June 11th, 2007 7:23 pm

May he join the lackluster ranks of such as Aaron Burr… oops, Richard Burr I mean.

That’s two dogs hung up. Kennedy and Graham. Can’t tell which one is hung, cold water for them both. They are going home to angry voters without any political immunity (funny).

A bipartisan bloodbath (that’s REALLY funny)

  54. Carl W. Goss on June 12th, 2007 12:24 am

Does anyone think that Sen. Graham is gay? Nothing wrong with being gay, I just wonder how the south Carolinians might feel about it. I suspect that if Graham is gay and he sees some difficulties ahead he might contract some sort of false marriage to head of an outing. Of course that would never work and it would be the end of his career if it happened.

  57. Tyrone on June 12th, 2007 12:09 pm

I don’t understand something. How can a person like Graham turn on the people that got him elected in the first place? It’s like a dog biting the hand that feeds him. La Raza, Ted Kennedy or George Bush can’t get him re elected. Graham is pandering to La Raza, yet to La Raza Graham is nothing more then a “gringo”. What an idiot. Good luck in you all getting rid of him.

I love SC and have business interest there.
It has been many years since I graduated from a military school there and still have warm feeling for the wonderful people. It is a shame that such a whiney person represents the fine people of SC. I will give the maximum allowed by law to whoever runs against Lindsey Graham, Republican or Democrat. I owe this to the fine people of SC.

  60. Les Jones on June 15th, 2007 6:14 am

It seems to me that most folks are inclined to allow Graham to serve out his remaining time in office. I do not think so.

I am a lifelong conservative, and believe that our President and Graham, along with many others have deserted the beliefs that have made this the greatest nation on earth. It is now that we must fight back.

There is no better time than now to send a message to the rest of Congress that the Citizens of the United States still run the show.

If we recall Graham the message will be clear. We voted you in to support our agenda, our beliefs, and our wishes. If you fail in listening to your constituents we can remove you.

Now is the time to send that message.

If I knew how to start it I would, but someone out there must know, and I will help.

It is time to take the Government back.

  61. Chuck in South Carolina on June 15th, 2007 5:15 pm

I don’t have the clout of knowledge to begin a recall of Lindsey Graham. But I would love to see someone begin this movement - even if it only sends a strong message that this isn’t just a few people being upset. Someone please begin this movement. Meanwhile, I promise I’ll do everything I can to make sure Senator Graham NEVER darkens the halls of the Capitol beyond this current term.

  64. Vince Calhoun on June 18th, 2007 12:26 am

I am ashamed that South Carolina, the home of my Calhoun family, has somebody like Lindsey Graham in Such a pivotal position championing legalizing illegal residents!
The man while well intentioned, is going to brankrupt the nation, to say nothing of replacing real American citizens with hordes of aliens with the power of the senate vote.
People like him and George Bush must have sold out to some insane ideas on what American really is, what we’ve historically defended, and what we really need. Defense! Our government ignores the problem of illegal traffic and refuses to station really armed, armed forces at our borders. I feel betrayed by my own government! I have defended them, now they won’t defend me. Totally incredible!
Bush has said we need illegals to help our economy. That is completely false in my opinion. If we sent the lawbreakers and trespassers home we would have more jobs for Americans!
Surely even an idiot can realize we must defend ourselves against this invasion.
If it isn’t war a I don’t know what is!
War time defense tactics need to be implemented and done right now. I fault our government for not protecting the nation and defending our borders. The government has allowed the situation to escalate. Vote them all out!

    re: exDemocrat for Fred Thompson

Fred Thompson has sent conflicting messages in his voting history and statements. I hope you are right because he seems to have momentum, however, my concern is only heightened with the announcement that Lynn Cheney will be joining his team! I don’t trust any candidate who has ties in any way to this administration. Newt made the statement last year that Jeb Bush would make a good presidential candidate! That scares the hell out of me and questions Newt’s independence.

My greatest fear is that we will see the contnuation of the current oligarchy:

    George Herbert Walker Bush
    Bill Clinton
    George W. Bush
    Hillary Clinton
    Jeb Bush
    Chelsea Clinton
    ad nauseum

  66. Mike on June 20th, 2007 10:03 pm

As a conservative, Lindsey Graham makes me puke. I will not be donating any more money to the RNC, as long as it’s being represented by backstabbing, lying sellouts like Lindsey Graham, Trent Lott, and G.W. Bush.

  67. Clyde Polk - Rock Hill, SC on June 22nd, 2007 9:10 pm

Lindsay Graham has embarased and disapointed the majority of South Carolina conservatives by supporting and pushing this illegal amnisty bill. It is time for us to find someone to replace him in 2008. I will support anyone who runs against him - PERIOD.

  68. C. Kirkland on June 24th, 2007 5:51 pm

Some State-Wide office holder needs to step up and run for the US Senate. The damage Graham is doing to this country is incalculable.

If this amnesty bill passes, the American way of life as we know it will be
over. Open borders and the largest transfer of wealth in history will be
underway as the U.S. becomes an adjunct of Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador,
Honduras and other third world countries.
It will have profound effect not only on schools but the work place,
communities, government and yes, even the churches. You can see it
    everywhere.

We can say history is repeating itself. We are duplicating the same apathy
and blindness British and French exhibited between 1935-1940. This will be our fate without divine intervention. In any event, we owe it to our grandchildren and the patriots who have given their life to preserve the American way of life to do what we can.

As a South Carolinian, I have a little different perspective. I actually worked in Graham’s campaign, I’m sorry to say. Around the country people think Graham’s problems began with immigration reform but in reality, it started much earlier. Recall, for example, that Graham was part of the gang of 14 who derailed the Republican effort to drop the nuclear option on Democrat filibusters of judicial nominees.

Graham has been nothing but an opportunist and a demagogue since he was elected and it is time for him to go! He ran as a conservative but he never had a conservative thought in his life. He parrotted conservative ideas to get elected, nothing else. He is an abomination.

I was just reading a blog on Michelle Malkin’s site, and there was a post left by some one running against Graham, his name is Tim Carnes, he sounded pretty good to me, just a hard working citizen, and a conservative, I think we should get back to electing the ordinary man or woman, look what electing the rich, well known lawyers, and powerful have gotten us into!….he has a website….carnesforsenate.com

We, the people, should take our government back into our own hands. Lindsey’s money cannot elect him into office, we do, so lets show him who he works for and hand him his pink slip and bring in a new representative.

We might as well join the team now, if we want to see Lindsey defeated, it will take all of us working together. Tim Carnes for SC Senate!

It is unfortunate that your ideas are distracted by your poor spelling and butchering of the English language. The word is “bigot” not “biggot”. “Your” should be “you’re”, “till” should be “’til”, “dont” should be “don’t”, “though” should be “thought”, and that doesn’t even include the number of times a name isn’t capitalized(graham) or other grammatical errors which make you appear more like an uneducated Democrat than a smart Conservative. Other than that I agree with your viewpoint.

  83. Michael Kraft on August 10th, 2007 5:31 pm

Jim the word bigot is spelled that way where it is quoted from. I have known and had it pointed out before.

I am sorry that the only conclusion or feedback on 12 paragraphs that you “agreed with” was to correct spelling or capitilization.

You can see other places I write, that most of this comes from my handheld and often gets online unchecked.
Other than that thanks for the feedback.

Graham has his supporting chairmen around the state of South Carolina helping censor those who are running against him in their county meetings. Reports are that Mr. Bertram from Spartanburg promised Tim 3-5 minutes in an email for last weeks Rally, but in the last seconds leading up to the speech it was cut to 1 minute. Of course “Team Graham” is trying to make this out to be nothing big, some even saying that they never give that amount of time, so was Mr. Beltram’s error on purpose? From a public speakers point of view…there is nothing worst than preparing for say 5 minutes and at the last minute being cut by 4 minutes, that not only rattles you, but it makes you scramble to get 60 seconds worth of thought together. From someone who was at the rally, I think Tim still shined bright even though it was obvious that Mr. Beltram strong armed the meeting and was strongly biased for Graham. Betram is a crony for Graham, and that is obvious, he needs to go as soon as we oust Graham.

Here is the video of Tim’s 1 minute speech, it has some filler added to it of the crowd, etc. There were over 400 people registered and maybe 20-25 “Team Graham” members, I guess that is why they wanted to prevent Tim from getting his message out:
