Mike Huckabee is #2 on the list of the best answer performances of the last debate.

I dont put him second in the total performance but he has the second best answer perhaps of the entire debate when asked about evolution.

I should say, I am not a social conservative, I am not a religious person in many ways. I am a believer in science and doing right by the lessons of my good and honest parents. For me this is enough to guide my “soul” and I do the right thing most every chance I get.

I feel this is enough belief in what is considered right and holy to appease mots people of religion. I imagine I can say im not religous and state my moral and human kindness beliefs and still be respected by those like MR Huckabee.

For me Mr. Huckabees answer wasnt what I believe but was delivered with an unrehearsed true belief in what he chooses to believe and that is a rare treat on this stage of pretenders.

Along with Rudy Giuliani’s answer on Health care this is one of the best deliveries of the debate by Mike Huckabee.

Well I can appreciate someones honesty but should we be celebrating the fact that someone is honest about holding utterly ignorant viewpoints?

Huckabee seems to be an honest to goodness Christian. It’s a pitty that there is such controversy over the origin of man.

If evolutionists want to end the arguments all they have to do is, get their brilliant heads together and assemble a ’simple’ living cell. This should be possible, since they certainly have a very great amount of knowledge about what is inside the ’simple’ cell.

After all, shouldn’t all the combined Intelligence of all the worlds scientist be able the do what chance encounters with random chemicals, without a set of instructions, accomplished about 4 billion years ago, according to the evolutionists, having no intelligence at all available to help them along in their quest to become a living entity. Surely then the evolutionists scientists today should be able to make us a ’simple’ cell.

If it weren’t so pitiful it would be humorous, that intelligent people have swallowed the evolution mythology.

Beyond doubt, the main reason people believe in evolution is that sources they admire, say it is so. It would pay for these people to do a thorough examination of all the evidence CONTRARY to evolution that is readily available: Try answersingenesis.org. The evolutionists should honestly examine the SUPPOSED evidence ‘FOR’ evolution for THEMSELVES.

Build us a cell, from scratch, with the required raw material, that is with NO cell material, just the ‘raw’ stuff, and the argument is over. But if the scientists are unsuccessful, perhaps they should try Mother Earth’s recipe, you know, the one they claim worked the first time about 4 billion years ago, so they say. All they need to do is to gather all the chemicals that we know are essential for life, pour them into a large clay pot and stir vigorously for a few billion years, and Walla, LIFE!

Oh, you don’t believe the ‘original’ Mother Earth recipe will work? You are NOT alone, Neither do I, and MILLIONS of others!

with regards to the post by james collins above. we all know scientists can’t make cells anymore than they can fly, without the aid of a machine that is. the big bang is a crock and should be called the big crock, simple fact is that intelligent design is just as revelant as evolution theory is. neither can offer any proof in the physical form. I contend that people who choose not to buy into intelligent design most likely refute it because believing requires that you also acknowledge God and if you do that you might have to ask yourself if you’re living a Godly life and if not what do i need to do to be right with God.
so the living for today crowd who don’t want to do any soul searching or change the way they live find it easier to just subscribe to evolution theory as it requires nothing of them. it’s the path of least resistance, the easy way. Besides as an evolutionist you will sound cool at cocktail parties with all the leftoids and global warming hysteria nuts.
