Like local conservative voice and honest American Jeff Katz on WBT, many talk radio hosts have been maintaining a grassroots push to educate Americans on the Amnesty vote and the workings of cloture.

The senators were not able to doubletalk their way out of this vote. In the end the power of the truth on the radio dial was too much for senators to stake their careers against.

The senate was forced to actually represent Americans and kill the amnesty bill that nobody wanted.

Alabama Republican Jeff Sessions said the Senate telephone switchboard was shut down by a flood of calls to Senate offices by opponents of the bill.

“The only victory here is for the American people,” South Carolina Republican Jim DeMint said after the vote. “People responded to this issue in a very emotional and engaged way, which changed the minds of many people here in the Senate.”

Eighteen senators switched their position from a June 7 vote when the Senate voted 64-35 to resume debate on the measure.

Opponents of the legislation had criticized a limit on amendments and used procedural tactics to delay its consideration. Today they said their stalling tactics helped sway some senators.

“In terms of personal conversations with some individual senators who were on the bubble or even supporters of the bill, they came up to me and others and said this process really wasn’t fair to us,” Louisiana Republican David Vitter said.

Thank you Jim DeMint for remaining loyal. You will no doubt be rewarded with a reelection for your patriotism.

Now that we’ve defeated the Shamnesty Bill we must fax and email them while the issue is HOT!

Tell them we must secure our borders and enforce our laws right now, TODAY!

OR shall we wait another 21 years and 20+ Million more illegal aliens for another wrongheaded legislation to be shoved down our throats from a closed door “compromise”?

We are paying out over $340 BILLION per year right now for the illegal aliens we have, what will we be paying a year from now, ten years from now? Why on earth should we indirectly pay for all the support of low wage, unskilled and illegal workers for big business’s bottom line and a new voting base for Liberals? I say no way!!

Strike while the iron is hot folks, let them know we mean business!

Use Numbers USA and GOP USA to write them today!
