Republican Debate Grades
Rudy Giuliani
Grade: B
The two-term mayor of New York City once ran for the U.S. Senate, but dropped out in 2000. Rudy was solid again, always the “bologna” the of the stage, pretty good never the best but always worthy or consideration. I loved his health care conviction and his understanding of the importance of the free market system.
John McCain
Grade: C-
The U.S. senator from Arizona ran for the GOP presidential nomination in 2000, but lost to George W. Bush. McCain was again the phony man on stage, seemingly readin off a card and struggling to put together thoughts like the more well spoken candidates on the stage. Seems the least intelligent man on stage and only avoided another D score by deflecting his bad policies better.
Mitt Romney
Grade: C+
The former Massachusetts governor made an unsuccessful run for the U.S. Senate in 1994. Romney looked a bit lost on a few answers and that great smile may haunt him and scare away people wary of a smooth speaker.
Mike Huckabee - Winner?
Grade: A
Before he was a governor of Arkansas, Huckabee served as pastor to several churches. A well spoken, intelligent and powerful night of speaking. I never noticed him until tonight. I would say he was the winner or close to it.
Jim Gilmore
Status: C+
The former Virginia governor now chairs a homeland security program and think tank. Gilmore semd a bit off topic and nothing special. Seemed worthy of the stage but didnt stand out.
Tom Tancredo
Grade: C+
He has represented his Colorado district in the U.S. House since 1998.
I Love Tom’s politics and heart but he went to far with halting all immigration. Tom is right on the letter of the law, and Tom sands up for the people who eserve it like Compean and Ramos, and DOg The Bounty Hunter, but this wasnt his best night. Next time Tom!
Ron Paul
Grade: A-
The U.S. House member from Texas and medical doctor ran as a Libertarian for president in 1988. ROn Paul makes my chest tight when he speaks. He is so from the heart and so deeply versed in ever question topic that he blows away the main stream candidates. He is hands above most on the stage but just didnt get any air time. I would dedicate my time and thoughts to such an inspiring man, its a shame our country bases our leaders job on money and backing alone.
Tommy Thompson
Grade: B
The former Wisconsin governor was secretary of Health and Human Services from 2001 to 2005. Alot liked him tonight, I missed his biggest delivery.
Duncan Hunter
Grade: B
Hunter has served as a U.S. representative from California since 1981. Duncan Hunter may be emerging as one of the best candidates on the stage. He is a true conservative and speaks well and powerfully honesty like Ron Paul.

Republican Debate Grades…
…
They are Censoring Ron PAul!!! avoided asking him questions on the debate in fair share and then pulled his victory online via “the who won blog” and the online voting section.
On top of it, Ron one at 53% with over 1700 votes
with rudy and Mckain trailing with 400 votes and at 13%
post show they said rudy won the online poll and ron paul only had 2% votes.
Spread the word…. Ron Paul is worth censoring by the biggest news company in our country and around the world? why?
go checkout his youtube videos or his website.
why else?
Ron Paul’s drum beats to the rhythm of the American People. It’s about time “We the People”, come together to focus on the real issues important to our country.
It’s time the Federal Government stop dictating and restricting the lives of free Americans; and leave the legislation of issues like: abortion, medical marijuana, and Gay marriage, up to the 50 Sovereign States of the Republic to decide.
Ron Paul, clearly… Won.. the first debate and now the second debate.
The big networks are going to have to start giving Ron Paul some well deserved recognition.
Huck was strong but as a former preacher he had a home field advantage with the moral questions. But he failed to raise morality to a national level. This is a shakey A. Maybe an A-.
But Ron Paul! Intelligent, eloquent, humble… On the moral issue he did not pander to a “personal” religious lobby - he went straight to our national morality and rightly identified pre-emptive war as the greatest moral issue facing our country. He is the only candidate who actually answered the question from a national moral perspective instead of a personal religious perspective. And what he said was true. Give him a A+.
