Freemarketnews.com gives us this great story on the censorship of Ron Paul.
Almost every independent media outlet and cultural outlet has 5 times the Ron Paul related traffic and conversation than it does for Rudy Giuliani.
I can verify this personally with the thousands of visitors to this site daily Ron Paul is nearly double that of all other traffic topics. The people and the web are fascinated by Ron Paul and my stats prove that to me.
I dont mean this to be an endorsement, though I do support the man, but this is a fact that is strangely evident on the web as opposed to hidden on other media sources.
Another in a series of media screw ups? Congressman Ron Paul (R-Tex) appeared on the Comedy Central’s “Colbert Report” last night, but this morning he’s there “in name only.” His video has apparently disappeared.
Ron Paul seems to be on a “run of bad luck” with the mainstream media.
CNN has been especially hard on him. The network falsely accused Ron Paul of “air-plane elitism,” (for flying first class) killed an on-air graphic “straw poll” showing he won the recent GOP debates, and “disappeared” a post-debate web-page with numerous positive Ron Paul comments. Now - early Thursday morning, June 14, 2007 - Ron Paul has disappeared once more.
FMNN feedbacker writes, “Interestingly enough, Paul’s interview video seems to have disappeared from Comedy Central’s site, replaced with a duplicate interview of a Dr. Gershon who wrote a book about the digestive system. Also interesting is that all of the video links have the faces of the interview-ees clearly visible in thumbnails, while the mis-atributed Ron Paul interview has a still of Colbert himself gesticulating. Was traffic too much they had to take it down? Or is this another part of a deliberate media blackout by the major players?”
When FMNN checked, as of early Thursday morning, The Ron Paul Video clip at Comedy Central was still playing Dr. Gershon’s interview. Too bad for Ron Paul, as the video likely would have gotten considerable play right after his appearance on the program, last night.
Ron Paul’s small-government, constitutionalist message has met with overwhelming approval on the Internet and is making good progress in critical states of New Hampshire and Iowa, sources close to the campaign say. He recently finished first among all non-Mormon candidates in a Utah straw poll.
One assumes this latest media mishap will be rectified shortly. Unless it has already been adjusted, the mis-identified Comedy Central video can be seen here (with nearly 3,000 views and “four stars,” even though misidentified as of 8am ET):

Where Is Ron Paul…

Ron Paul’s tremendous and ongoing growth, despite the media blackout on him, is the biggest story of this Presidential campaign. If people hadn’t already realized that mainstream media is nothing more than Government propaganda and Corporate/Government cronyism by now, those Ron Paul supporter’s who see the disparity between the internet and media will be left with no doubt’s.
Newsflash to mainstream media…..the American people are taking Ron Paul straight to the Whitehouse (unless election polls are still rigged)…GET USE TO IT!

Normally, the videos post around 8a EST, but they usually post the interview first. Because they rush that first video, somtimes there’s typos in the description text, or other issues and they have to be reposted.

I agree with Tammy. The big story here is that the MSM is trying to fix this election. We need to really be in up in arms about this! When the MSM says Ron Paul is polling at 1% and the Internet polls have him anywhere from 56%-97% we have a big problem. Most likely neither number is correct, but how can we trust the MSM at all? Why won’t they discuss the Ron Paul Revolution? Why won’t they let the public know about this man? The First Amendment protects the people from only hearing one point of view. If the MSM voluntarily only prints the voice of the people in power, the people that give them subsidies, then we have lost the First Amendment protections.
Don’t let them do that to us. Stop letting your mind be manipulated by the MSM. Stop watching. FFF.org has a great daily email that gives you plenty of news articles. I dare you: stop all MSM viewing for one month, except to search Google for Ron Paul articles, read only the FFF stuff and you will really see how much manipulation and indoctrination is in the MSM.
If we hit them in the pocketbook maybe they will listen.

Ron Paul is leading the charge to get this country on the right track, and tranferring the power back to “We The People”. How fitting that a doctor shows up at a time when a country is so “ill”.
Don’t take my word for it - read about him on your own. Watch him in the debates, and watch him talk about issues (like getting rid of the IRS). He is the genuine article. You may never see another man like him in your life-time.

Ron Paul is great.
But do not feel like Ron Paul is alone. First, the People are behind him. Second, there are others like him… It is those of us behind him now. The Libertarian Party was behind him when he ran for Pres in 1988, when the MSM ignored him then. Now as a Republican Candidate, it is harder for them to keep him off the stage. With the Internet , it is harder to keep people from hearing him. These principles and ideas are not foreign concepts. They are American.
Do you trust the Gov’t that lies to you with your healthcare? I’ve personally loved the Social Sec. plan they haven’t done anything to fix since they found it a problem in the 1980s. We know it’s headed to disaster, but I guess that’s the plan. Do you trust that same gov’t to really build a fence this time? They were only kidding when they said they’d build it last year. I mean come on, they got 2 miles done in 6 months!
Do you trust them to really teach our kids better this next year? You know, the same guys that will put a gag order on a Hooker in DC to prevent her from telling the press who she has “lobbied intensively”? Those same ones that have a problem keeping their thoughts off their congressional pages.
Maybe you trust them not to take bribes, and maybe you trust them to spend your taxes only on truly worthy needs, while getting a bargain and the most bang for the buck. Maybe you trust them to respect all the rest of the laws we are supposed to follow.
Why hell, just look at their track record!

Why are all the photos and videos of Fred Thompson months, if not years old? A recent announcement showed him extremely thin and gout. I felt terrible for him. But, do we want a constitutional crisis by electing a dying man presidet?
Ron Paul is the man for pres. While I still like Tancredo and Hunter, I think Dr. Paul is the best choice. Romney is a flip flopper, Rudy is a liberal in disguise, Mclamebrain is a complete waste of skin.

Ron Paul only gets 1% of the vote in the polls. I think you’re mistaking interest on the Internet with real-world support. Ron Paul has plenty of the former, but very little of the latter.

Ron Paul has an impecable voting record when it comes to the Constitution for the united States. The only public servant that I know of that takes his oath of office (to uphold and support the Constitution for the united States) seriously.
