The U-Tube debate Tuesday by the Democrats was cute but I’m still having trouble holding down food. It wasn’t what the candidates said. It was the audience applauding.

They applauded when they were told they could have their nanny state for free. They applauded when they were promised that the rich would be soaked for it. (Everyone knows that if you raise taxes on the rich, they just hide their money or take their companies to other countries.)

They applauded when they were told they would no longer have to fear because the candidates would sit down with our enemies and make nice so they would like us.

They applauded each time a candidate promised they would not have to uphold certain moral values.

They applauded people who flew in on private jets and promised to solve global warming.

They even applauded when they were told we would get out of Iraq, then turned around and applauded when they were told we would go into Darfur.

Where did they find these people? Surely not at the Citadel. I did not even know there were folks like that in South Carolina. Bussed in maybe?

tell people what they want to hear. promise them anything they want. the main object is to get the votes. when you are elected forget them.people vote the party line. if you brought sralin out of the grave and ran him on the democrat party he would be elected.
