I generally am not a huge Ann Coulter fan, good sense but further right than I am.

I am though finding her articles more and more “fun” to read though and wanted to share some pieces from an article entitled “Bush’s America: Roach Motel”.

“Republicans’ defense of President Bush’s immigration bill is more enraging than their defense of Harriet Miers. Back then, Bush’s conservative base was accused of being sexist for opposing an unqualified woman’s nomination to the highest court in the land. Now we’re racists for not wanting to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens.

I don’t know why conservatives like Linda Chavez have to argue like liberals by smearing their opponents as racists. Oh wait, now I remember! Their arguments are as strong as liberals’ arguments usually are.

Apart from abortion, no subject produces so much disingenuousness as America’s immigration policy, both legal and illegal. For nearly 50 years, Americans have been intentionally lied to about our immigration laws.

If liberals think Iraqis are genetically incapable of pulling off even the most rudimentary form of democracy, why do they believe 50 million Mexicans will magically become good Americans, imbued in the nation’s history and culture, upon crossing the Rio Grande? Maybe we should dunk Iraqis in the Rio and see what happens.

And as long as we’re adopting an open borders policy for immigration, how about opening the borders for emigration?

As it stands, anyone can come in and start plotting terrorist attacks or collecting government services right away. But the rest of us can never escape having to pay for it.

You can leave the country, you can renounce your citizenship — but you still owe taxes for 10 years.

The government does not allow us to stop supporting welfare recipients in America, millions more of whom it plans to import under Bush’s bill. That’s not a free market — it’s a roach motel.”

I think Ann Coulter is a very funny, witty woman and I am thrilled that someone else has seen that.

Coulter is lame, nothing more than low hanging fruit for the true intellectual. For example, the other day on Cavuto she launched another one of her ill thought out cheap shots by saying that liberals would be shocked to know that George Bush could eat and tie his shoes before he met Carl Rove. What Ann neglected to explain in any part during this revelation was the pretzel incident and all those times Bush’s shoe laces got caught in the bicycle chain.But don;t get me wrong, we on the left are thankful for conservatives like Ann Coulter because she blindly drives more and more people away from her party than she could ever hope to attract. Why would anyone want to align themselves with a nut-case that has been wearing the same black dress for nearly a year now? Doesn’t conservatism ever speak to hygiene? And lastly, another reason to be thankful that Ann is a right-winger is the way she continually wishes death and destruction upon Democrats. What this so called “smart” woman is neglecting to factor into her childish tirades is the fact that almost every one of these people she wishes so much harm upon are Americans. Um, aren’t we at war with an outfit that shares the same idiology, the large scale destruction of the American citizenry? This, coupled with the success she’s had at dividing the country over the last few years with her nutty rants during a time when we ought to be uniting must make people like Ossama Bin Ladden mighty proud of her. He must be proud indeed to have such an obliging and often aired ally right here on American soil driving that wedge for him totally free of charge. Yes-siree, Ann Coulter-terrorist wanna-be. You guys got a real winner there!

Hows Rosie O Donnell doing? And did Michael Moore investigate the healthcare in the political prisons of Cuba?

Same thing, but with the window dressing of millions of dollars in hollywood donations.

Its ok though… because conservatives know that everyone is allowed to have an opinion.

We even respect your right to have wrong ideals. This is freedom, as opposed to socialism.
