Giuliani Smacks Liberal Spending
Here’s another of the Rudy Giuliani highlight films, with a side order of Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney.
Skip right to the 1:20 mark of this video if you want to see Rudy put a complete smackdown on liberal financial ideals.
David Yepsen of The Des Moines Register tries dealing a loaded question to Rudy Giuliani and Mike Huckabee about raising taxes to fix bridges so the recent bridge collapse never happens again.
Rudy comes out and educates the audience and John Edwards, who “lacks executive experience”, as Giuliani puts it.
Rudy quotes facts about the money lost through raising taxes and how lower taxes build a strionger economy and in the end equal much more revenue for the nation.
As is always the case, less is more when you follow conservative ideals.
John Edwards the self proclaimed “jesus of the poor” (who is worth tens of milions of dollars from lawsuits), needs to do some fact checking on the historical outcome of past tax increases before he suggests more on national television.
This really is another Rudy Giuliani highlight of him being confident, smart and experienced as compared to a very weak and inexperienced Democratic field.
Our last Rudy Highlight was months ago with Rudy’s response to socializing healthcare. Rody explained then how free markets lower costs and not socialism.
Rudy brought facts and killed the stereotype of the loaded question with facts.
Romney contributes some good common sense and Mike Huckabee responds well to the same question in the first 1:20 of this video.
The video ends on McCain going off on a “pork barrel” spending tangent that really had nothing to do with the question.
