Create a 120 second video explaining why tax increases will hurt the American economy, leading to less revenue for the government, not more.

Or in other words, explain why we shouldn’t cook the goose that laid the golden eggs (the American economy) by raising taxes.

The winner will receive a signed copy of the Contract with America and a signed leatherbound copy of Winning the Future: A 21st Century Contract with America.

There are only two rules. 1) The video must be 120 seconds or less; and 2) It must be simple enough for a 6th grade classroom or a Congressman to understand.

To enter your video

1) Create a YouTube Account and Profile. It’s free and easy.

2) Join the Winning the Future YouTube Group by clicking Join This Group in the yellow square at the upper right hand corner.

3) Upload Your Video to your account. (You must be logged in with your YouTube profile to do this.) It may take a few minutes for the video to be converted and appear on your list of videos. Be sure to include “Golden Goose Contest” somewhere in the title of your video so we know it is an entry.

4) Add your video to the Winning the Future YouTube Group by clicking Add Videos in the yellow square at the upper top right hand corner. (Note the video must first be approved by the moderator so it may take up to 48 hours to appear).

5) Tell your friends! The deadline for all entries is June 1.
