Americans for Legal Immigration PAC or ALIPAC is launching a national campaign to try and stop Senator Durbin’s Dream Act Amendment, which would provide Amnesty for millions of illegal aliens, give them taxpayer subsidized in-state college tuition rates and place them ahead of American students.

“This is the Bad Dream Amnesty Act,” says William Gheen of ALIPAC. “This legislation would replace American students in the limited seats in college at taxpayer expense!

Our organization has helped to defeat this measure many times on the state level and now we will try to stop the Senate from passing it.”

ALIPAC helped defeat in-state tuition measures in three states including North Carolina, where polling data by the Civitas Institute shows that over 81% of likely voters oppose “Dream Act” legislation.

The legislation was defeated in NC, VA, and even Massachusetts by large margins!

Defending America from what? Illegal Students? geez!

What limited seats in college? there’re plenty of seats for everyone.

I would say defending the US laws that are in plain english as they were written by our congress in 1986 and since.

Since when is a law optional or ignored based on convenience?

How do pro amnesty types find fault in wanting the laws enforced as they are written?

1st world laws is why we have a 1st world lifestyle.

“What limited seats in college? there’re plenty of seats for everyone.”

    Here in Charlotte Mecklenburg schools..
The High School my legal hispanic sister-in-law attended till 2005 is at 204% Capacity.
They have trailers for classrooms due to over crowding (North Meck High).

    Why is that?

The school also has 57% of all new students are Hispanic. And if you live in this area by Huntersville, you dont need to be a rocket scientist to see the population is largely illegal immigrants.

North Carolina is the 3rd fastest growing illegal immigrant population in America. NC is the fastest invaded non-border state in the country.

So check again on those seats for everyone. Your assumption is wrong.

No American child should be learning in a trailer and 32 stuednt class sizes, because the school has 20-30% illegal immigrants filling the classrooms.

    Dream Act???

    Why the special treatment?

Some of us once had dreams of our own.

The open border, United States laws only apply to some, is a serious slap in the face. No, not a slap in the face, it reaches well beyond that. Maybe back to the beginning of time and stretch to the bounds of the universe.
