We will be here live following the GOP in this evening’s Republican presidential debate, set to begin at 9 p.m. ET on Fox News Channel. The presidential primary debate at the University of New Hampshire in Durham will be lacking the top ranking Fred Thompson. I had looked forward to a chance to see him shoulder to shoulder.

11:02pm Well the fact that Fred Thompson wasn’t there didn’t take long to surface. This FOX debate format and style was bordering on offensive. By far the most unprofessional, theatric and loaded line of questions seen to date.

The open of the debate is the question what do you all think about Fred Thompson not being here?

So these men have a chance to address a nation hungry for leadership and we are playing high school name calling session?
Hunter says hes “No show Fred”, and everyone laughs.

We wasted 10 minutes of national TV time with what do you think about Fred. A complete shame and disgrace on FOX, and that takes alot.

The questions were all loaded questions that seemed intent on insulting every candidate or pitting them against each other.

You can see the best of these exchanges here where Ron Paul clashes with Mike Huckabee.

More to come including the debate video and debate transcript.
Also check out the grades for the candidates, and yes for the first time I don’t pick Ron Paul as the clear winner.
