On September 10th I read this article or post about Moveon.org and the extreme anti war ad they decided to post in the New York Times.

Republicans Pile On Over MoveOn Ad
By Katharine Q. Seelye
Has MoveOn.org moved too far?
The liberal anti-war group is getting bombarded today from the right for a full-page ad in The New York Times that questions the integrity of Gen. David H. Petraeus, who is testifying now on Capitol Hill on the progress of the war in Iraq. Despite the criticism, or perhaps because of it, MoveOn says it stands by the ad.
“Cooking the books for the White House,” reads the headline under a picture of General Petraeus, who is the commander of U.S. forces in Iraq.”
The New York Time reports that Moveon.org questioned the integrity of the highest Military Leader involved in the war, with the ad they published. A leader that was given his job by all members of congress.
On September 10th, they posted this article that asks if this message was too extreme and in poor taste. The message that they gave space to in the same paper they now question the taste of the message with.
So maybe they are just being impartial and offering a forum to all people?
Impartial is the highest compliment to a news source and speaks volumes of the paper’s integrity.
But wait,… oops busted.
ABC reports they paid $65,000 for the full page ad aimed at insulting America’s highest ranking Army officer involved in the war.
“”General Petraeus or General Betray Us?” reads the full-page ad, which cost the liberal group MoveOn.org approximately $65,000 and ran in section A of today’s New York Times. ”
But as Fox news and many other sources point out, the standard price of this type of ad is $182,000.
“According to Abbe Serphos, director of public relations for the Times, “the open rate for an ad of that size and type is $181,692.”
So The New York Times wrote an article on the 10th calling this attack on the General seemingly in bad taste, or an outrage to many in America.
But then why the 64% discount on the cost of the ad? Where is the integrity in the drastic discount given to an ad that has a political agenda?
There has long been assertions that the New York Times is the property of the liberal left, and could be a big reason why NY is almost always a blue state in every election.
I think we can stop guessing and say this makes it fact that the paper has an agenda that is not about news or truth.
Will the Minutemen be offered a discount? or the NRA?
