Ron Paul Straw Polls

We may as well extend to an almost theme week here about the reality that Ron Paul is breaking new ground in his abilities as an “outside shot” to produce front runner numbers and money.

From Ron’s site we see the collection of all straw polls to date and how Ron has faired when voters are asked who they would choose as their candidate.

In head to head matchups only Fred Thompson even comes close with a 12-13 advantage to Ron Paul. We know these numbers can be slightly inflated or powered by local movements but not enough to erase this reality.

To pretend these numbers don’t show Ron Paul as a real factor would be to deny sources of information for the very reason they are produced.

Supporters please don’t forget to follow our FAIR TAX petition banner above, only takes a second and it makes a difference.

Ron Paul Wins NJ Republican Straw Poll in a Landslide 72% [ http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/015724.html ]

You are correct in your statement “To pretend these numbers don’t show Ron Paul as a real factor would be to deny sources of information for the very reason they are produced.”

The MSM IS denying information to the masses. It’s wrong, immoral and should be condemned by all. But it’s not. Shame on us.

    Michael,
Thank you for that article about Ron Paul. The reason that support for RP is so strong is because the PEOPLE are all aware about agendas of the mass media and we KNOW that they will NOT give RP an equal amount of spotlight. With the media trying to keep RP out of the spotlight, RP has to work that much harder to win. It’s a tragedy that our idiotic system of voting works in this manner. I ask that you give equal attention to RP that you do the other candidates and the choice of the hard-working American people will become clear as day.

Amen! And he just got 72% in a NJ straw poll.

Go Ron Paul! We campained for you in Niles Michigan today in the Apple fest Parade and informed thousands of people about you!
    To the Presidency!

Ron Paul is America’s last, best hope. We are well on our way to a bankrupt, totalitarian state. Should Giuliani, Romney, McCain, Thompson, Huckabee, Brownback, Hunter, or even Tancredo win the nomination, it is certain they will only advance the welfare-warfare condition under which this nation is operating.

Dr. Paul just won the New Jersey Straw Poll with 72% of the vote. This is fantastic, considering that NJ was always considered “Giuliani territory.”

What is very satisfying is that, a mere 4 months ago (around the time of the Iowans for Tax Relief Forum) nobody gave Ron Paul a whisper of a chance. Those of us who supported him believed that his message of freedom, of relying on the Constitution as the rule of law, might do better than the nay-sayers were predicting. So far so good!

If Americans don’t wake up their will be nothing left, our Nation is broke and Wall Street is the only people making a profit. While the Hidden inflation tax continues to rise and the value of the dollar declines. Ron Paul is the only one who truely understands this, and honestly if he is not elected America should be prepared for a real economic depression like it has never seen before.

Unless you want a North American Union and a new currency the “Amero” split with Canada and Mexico. And lose all your rights and freedom. Vote For Ron Paul 2008!

So my advice is to bypass the media and spread the word to your family and friends about him. The power of the People is far greater than a campaign spending 10’s of million to buy an image. Because this man is a real American Hero. He has dedicated his life to this country and everyone in it, and now he is trying to save it from disaster.

Spread The Word! Go Ron Paul 2008!

perhaps people in New Jersey have a reason to want some justice against the Sanctuary state that contributed to the murder of 3 black Americans?

Dr. Paul just surpassed $1,000,000 in 6 days. They have already attempted to hack his website. If Dr. Paul had the same exposure as the other candidates he would be the front-runner but the establishment cannot stand him because they will lose their control.

The Constitution hangs by a few threads. Let us pray that as God sent the Founding Fathers, and filled them with His Spirit to draft the Constitution, in our day, He will raise up wise men who are sincere Patriots, who shall defend the Constitution. Besides donating each month, a couple of bucks to the Ron Paul Campaign, people need to print up their own homemade local brochures, and walk their own Voting Districts once a month.
Thank you for a fair story about the Ron Paul/Constitution movement. Indeed the Spirit of The Lord seems to be broding over the land to awaken this people that it is time to defend the Constitution at the ballot box.

“In head to head matchups only fred [sic] Thomson [sic]even comes close with a 13-12 advantage to Ron Paul.”

That would be a disadvantage. Ron Paul has placed higher than Fred Thompson thirteen times to date, compared to Thompson besting Ron Paul twelve.

Yes, this is insignificant, but lets get the facts straight, shall we?

“only fred [sic] Thomson [sic]even comes close with a 13-12 advantage to Ron Paul”

That is what i said, you must have misread the words “Advantage to ron paul”.

I think it’s interesting that a website that links to Ann Coultier and Fair Tax is reporting on Ron Paul. I mean, I’m not complaining, it’s just that these things are different as night and day.

I suppose that shows some measure of journalistic integrity when a site follows the facts where they lead rather than where they WANT them to go… *cough* CNN *cough* Fox News *cough*…

Oh, and, I thought the Thompson comment was kinda misleading as well.

Changed to read 12-13 instead, Thanks for the opinion and clarity.

Overall, good article. Thanks for being honest in your reporting. That’s so rare these days.

Alot of the ads are automated or not added by me, Kevin, Steve or Jaime. No Connection to decide what supports who.
The Newt banners drew the same questions, but again seperate and non related to opinions or articles, even conflicting in some cases.
