Find The Phony Soldier
I wonder if Senator Reid will take Rush Limbaugh up on his challenge and hire a private polling company of his choice to ask the troops who has done more for the morale of the military, Rush Limbaugh or the US Congress.
We won’t see much response from the 24% approval rating congress.
Why won’t we see this challenge ever come to be?
Because our soldiers don’t seem to vote Democrats, period.
At least that is what one survey of the soldiers discovered.
Let Ann’s article expand on this fact:
Not content to wait for my book to come out, Senate Democrats are demanding a censure resolution against Rush Limbaugh. Ah, the memories…
In my experience, having prominent Democrats censure you on the Senate floor is the equivalent of 50 book signings. Or being put on the cover of The New York Times magazine 20 years ago when people still read The New York Times magazine. They should rename Senate censure resolutions “Harry Reid’s Book Club.”
Liberals are hopping mad because Rush Limbaugh referred to phony soldiers as “phony soldiers.” They claim he was accusing all Democrats in the military of being “phony.”
True, all Democrats in the military are not phony soldiers, but all phony soldiers seem to be Democrats.

“According to a Military Times survey taken in September 2004, active-duty military personnel preferred President Bush to Kerry by about 73 percent to 18 percent. Sixty percent describe themselves as Republican and less than 10 percent call themselves Democrat (the same 10 percent that MSNBC has on its speed-dial). Even among the veterans, Republicans outnumber Democrats 46 percent to 22 percent.”

What sentiment about the war best describes your views?

You are, of course, highly mistaken in taking the position that, because of congress’ low approval ratings and a general dislike of democrats, soldiers like Limbaugh. that is one extreme jump to make; like saying just because I am against abortion means I go to church every Sunday.
I mean, how insulting to paint GOP stickers on soldiers! Do you know any soldiers? As a veteran of Iraq, I would like to say shut up about soldiers before you end up tied to a stake after they all mutinee and take over this country out of desperation. Stop putting words in their mouths for your own political gain. You are despicable to real soldiers, just like every other goldbricking blue-falcon who claims to know about soldiers.
“I would like to say shut up about soldiers before you end up tied to a stake ”
Interesting code of conduct sir.
Actually it was 2 days ago I last encountered a returned marine from Iraq, he was at Chikfila with his wife and 3-4yr old son, I saw his ID in his wallet on the counter and struck a conversation to thank him for his service, and say i appreciate him.
Offered to buy his lunch.
He had stated “he was expecting to get pelted with Tomatoes when he got home but it felt good to hear kind words.”
I wonder why he feels unappreciated and thinks nobody supports him?
“this war is lost, that the surge is not accomplishing anything,” Harry Reid, D-Nev.
He has my email address, and maybe he will stop by to express how he felt my respect towards him and his family are.
And sir, any picture isnt painting anybody. It is a 9-1 depiction to illistrate the 10% that call themselves Democrats according to the ‘According to a Military Times survey taken in September 2004′” If you prefer a bar chart, I cannot offer one.
And Evan nobody made a jump to “soldiers like Limbaugh”, but if the facts I quoted are accurate then Soldiers do vote Republican, and Republican voters do largely support limbaugh.
Im you spent time listening to him you would support him too.
I would suggest spending tomorrow doing so and you would see who really supports you.
You would hear words of support from Rush that Congress would never utter on your behalf.
In the spirit of that I got a link here for your site. Assuming this is you, any reader can visit your message and make up their own mind.
Since I too support your view on the stop-loss policy.
