Giuliani Equals Clinton?

An article from the Conservative Voice caught my eye and makes me nervous.

I like Rudy Giuliani as a person and a leader. His views are not too far from my own and 90% of issues. I don’t think of myself as a social conservative”, but more a “common sense conservative”.

I do not oppose gay marriage for example, but I do see how it could create some complicated precidents and weaken marriage in a legal sense. What is to keep non-gay men or women from marrying later to get the benefits of marriage? Would we need to find a “gay test” to keep marriage from become a loophole more than an institution?

My point is that I think gay men and women should enjoy an institution like marriage with one another, and that is their choice….but the government needs to foresee the complications this could cause and not just pull the broad and sweeping “yes” lever with thinking.

For reasons like this I do not really have a problem with Giuliani. I do think of him more as my anti-Hillary candidate.

I oppose with all my being, socialists and communists like Hillary Clinton. Her kind around the world that promote socialism are the enemy of freedom in plain clothes.

As a tool to stop socialists like her, Giuliani may be our #1 resource. It’s not about him as much as not-her.

But will conservatives see that at this time we must “use” him for this purpose. We must in the end rally around this lesser of two evils. We must ackowledge his strengths on security and free market healthcare.

The abortion or gay marriage issues are not going to be solved in the next 4 years! But international issues will come to a head in that time.

We need to support him for the short term, because the short term issues Rudy does represent the GOP properly.

From the Conservativevoice.com:

“I told Dr. Corsi, “A lot of conservative Christians will never vote for Rudy Giuliani.” I will even go so far as to say that no genuine Christian conservative could possibly vote for Giuliani. And, no, it does not matter that Hillary Clinton might be elected President as a result……

Let me say it plainly: a Hillary Clinton administration would be no worse than a Rudy Giuliani administration. In some ways, it might not be as bad. At least, with a Democrat in the White House, conservatives might try to act like conservatives and muster the energy to actually oppose some of her liberal proposals.”

One Response to “Giuliani Equals Clinton?”

We’ve learned that in the 1980s, before he became the Mayor of America, Rudy Giuliani narrowly escaped a death plot hatched by John Gotti, who ran the Gambino mafia family. Pravda newscaster Martha MacCallum asks viewers: “In terms of Rudy Giuliani and his presidential aspirations, does this help him, this story? Does it make him, you know, even more, sort of, invincible?”

Look, just because Rudy Giuliani descends among us as Maitreya, the Buddha of the Future, he nevertheless might choose NOT to give verbal teachings. Instead he might work for sentient beings by sending beams of light from his holy body.
