30 Minutes Past Insane

While chatting tonight with friends in Venezuela, we had a few repeated confusions over the topics in our conversations when we referred to the time.

This is a small and true example of how completely out of his mind the dictator Hugo chavez has become.

We will look at some of the many “important changes” Chavez has made to his country that have been so helpful to combat the poverty, record inflation, housing shortage, record violent crime and other important issues in his country.

In his time as “president” he has battled all these major issues by: changing the flag, changing the flag a second time, changed the name of the country, removed the oldest TV station in the country, painting the oil company and refineries red, making laws in ragards to what music can be played on the radio, outlawing drinking during tourist season……but his most recent acts of complete ego and insanity are beyond any doubt even more helpful than these “really important” agendas of the fake revolution!

Chavez has made some “daylight savings’ laws recently. He did not change the hour back or forward, that would be far too common sense.

Chavez recently decided that in his world the clocks should all be back 1/2 an hour. If you don’t know, right now the clocks in Venezuela are all by law 30 minutes behind yours.

This act has no advantage, makes no sense and serves no purpose to the people he is SUPPOSE to be serving. This does thoug cause countless travel, computer and scheduling troubles and costly changes to have to be made and absorbed by those in the country trying to figure out what is going on in this apparent “drunken” revolution.

Coming soon this spring, Hugo chavez plans to remove 3 zeros from all the money to combat inflation. His complete abuse and corruption in the economy that has resulted in inflation of 4.9% in November ‘07 and about 19% inflation yearly will be solved by pretending it never happened.

If he hides the zeros he thinks he has solved the destroyed economy he is creating. His financial genius is nothing short of a 5th grader.

No doubt the dictator is serves only his own ego and seldom ventures into common sense or reality. With this in mind, if you ever go to visit Hugo in his land of communism and make believe revolutions, be sure to your red t-shirt, AK-101 rifle, and set your watch back 30 minutes.
