After the rhetoric about changing Washington, and cutting out the “pork”, you’d think someone pretending to be such an honorable candidate would lead by example.

Does “cutting the pork” include firing government employees who never show up for work?
Will McCain be firing himself first as the most overpaid and absent employee in America?

John McCain makes $165,000 dollars per year so he can campaign for himself to make $400,000 next year. as the president.

He must be the only employee in America getting paid to look for another job because he is never in the senate actually doing any work. Can you make $165,000 per year and miss 59% of your appointments?

Is showing up for work twice a week worth a 200% raise?

and since he misses 50+ votes in a row, this would suggest that is 50+ issues he doesn’t have to bother reading about or researching since he isn’t going to show up and represent Arizona anyway.

The only person to have missed more work than John McCain has been Sen. Tim Johnson and he suffered a brain hemorrhage on Dec. 13, 2006, was hospitalized and has not returned to the Senate.

And still he is only 10% below John McCain.
