NYTimes Censors Ron Paul
This is the third piece I have written today about the blatent and disgusting censorship of Ron Paul after beating John McCain today and finished second in all voting in Nevada’s primary.
Ron Paul finished second today beating McCain, Thompson, Giuliani and Huckabee in Nevada.
yet the rag newspaper New York Times found a way to continue to ignore Ron Paul.
Ron Paul has led Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson in almost every state so far and has finished second today which is higher than either of them have finished anywhere.
But the New York times thinks this isn’t worth their ink to print.
Ron Paul out performed Senator Edwards today 3 to 1 in percentage points but still they dont even print his name.

The New York Times apparently received the phone call informing them not to give any publicity to Ron Paul, and like a good little corporate tool, they listened.
Explain this image, explain why the 4rth highest ranking candidate is not listed amongst the 6 candidates on the “official results” page?
Welcome to the corruption party New York Times, I will spool your paper and keep it next to my toilet.
UPDATE: RON PAUL ADDED
As of today Ron Paul is finally added to the NYTimes result page. But, this is not because of truth or honesty in reporting, but because Thompson dropped out. They had an emnpty slot so they added Paul as an afterthought.
Look at the side by side with Paul and Giuliani, Ron Paul has beat Giuliani in 4 of 5 primaries, and the only one he lost to Giuliani was 9% to 8% (almost a tie).
How is on a legit candidate and the other not worthy of them even printing his name?
Sorry New York Times, you are still toilet paper for intentionally omitting Ron Paul from you coverage.

I should like to suggest that a good writer get in and add the MSM bias in the 2008 presidential election related to Paul to Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Media_bias
Ron Paul has dealt with this media blackout for months now. However, the blatant actions continue and people are starting to clearly see the abuse of power. As the blackout continues and when Ron Paul is president, the press meetings are going to be very short. In addition, blogs like here are the new communications media. Thanks for noticing
Supporters of all candidates will remember the list of MSM that censored Dr. Paul and their sponsors.
I making a list and checking it twice.
“We are grateful to The Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during those years. But, the work is now much more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national autodetermination practiced in past centuries.”
– David Rockefeller, founder of the Trilateral Commission, in an address to a meeting of The Trilateral Commission, in June, 1991.
Scary, but not suprising. Murdoch owns the NYT as well. Yay independant news. So..does this mean that corporations in bed with government run the show? Hmmn, Mussolini called that Facisim. The sad thing is, I just watched a clip on you tube showing Ron Paul coverage in Russia. It was fair and ballanced. Sigh. It’s all so depressing. Why are American’s so apathetic?
Mr. Kraft,Thank you thank you thank you for pointing this out. I feel sick.
Thank you Mr. Kraft for helping to expose the corrupt owners of a paper and website that are insulting it’s readers and reflecting negatively on a great city and people. The NY Times is corrupted people and we need to let them know we won’t stand for it.
No surprise to see all CFR member candidates on the NY Times page together, but then again, NY Times is a tool of the Council on Foreign Relations.

“It’s impressive, I’ll say that. Ron Paul has really hit a nerve and the powers that be don’t like him one bit. For me that’s all the information I need. Sure, there are those that are going to tell me that the powers that be set it up that way and that Ron Paul is just another side of the powers that be. They’re going to tell me the game is locked on all sides but I don’t believe it.
Funny things happen in history and bad guys go down. It happens. Sometimes it happens much later down the road than we would like, but it happens.
I’ve seen two candidates in this present spectacle that I could live with winning the White House. Those candidates are Ron Paul and John Edwards. The reason I bring this up is because the powers that be want a John McCain and Joe Lieberman ticket. John McCain is a neo-con tool and Lieberman is an Israeli Zionista. That’s a good combination for the powers that be. If they’re really lucky they’ll get Giuliani as Attorney General too.
The assault on Ron Paul is coming on many levels. He’s been smeared as an associate of white power groups. That was blown out of the water but it keeps on getting said because that’s how Swiftboating is done. You keep repeating the same things over and over as if they hadn’t been disproved. People are that stupid that if you say something over and over they figure it has to be true because why else could you say it over and over on mass media?
Next they took radical statements made by someone purporting to support Ron Paul; possibly Lew Rockwell and they made it out as if Ron Paul had made these statements, this they did on CNN. Then they make out like the statements were being made over two decades because they happened between 1989 and 1991. Ron Paul disavowed all of these statements as being any indication of his position but there goes another Swiftboat down the river of darkness.
Then they compare Ron Paul to a terrorist on MSNBC. Then they list the votes from Michigan and don’t mention the over 50,000 votes that Ron Paul got but they don’t mind mentioning far lower numbers for other candidates. Mostly they don’t mention Ron Paul except dismissively.
Then we get the FACT that Ron Paul votes weren’t even counted in New Hampshire.
Ron Paul’s position on issues is readily available, I won’t debate them here. He’s a sound man with a sound plan and as radical as some of the ideas are they are all good ideas. They won’t get implemented because nothing ever gets done as it should. They will be debated and they will lead to positive compromises and that’s always to the good.
On the other hand, with people like John McCain and Joe Lieberman in office you might as well just start accepting the fact that you are all Palestinians now. You will be sure to see more phony terror attacks and more phony terror alerts because you are headed into the metaphorical darkness of Egypt only it won’t be a metaphor.
On the one hand you have bombastic ignorance and on the other you have certain evil. These are interchangeable as cause and result. You will be up shits creek and into an American Gaza to the smarmy, sonorous tones of the unctuous Lieberman and his talking parrot McCain.
They’ve got Bloomberg in the on deck circle. They’re quite serious about this people.
Let’s put aside John Edwards membership in an elite organization. You’re not likely to get a presidential candidate who hasn’t got some connection to something. We’re looking for the best possibilities. John Edwards is a populist out of the Jimmy Carter mold. He’s a human being as much as anyone running. It’s obvious he is passionate about his platform and it’s a good one. It’s a good one as far as the majority is concerned.
Isn’t it time for a collation of good? We’ve got various coalitions of evil. We’ve got all kinds of talking snake heads attached to the same body. We need a collation of good. It would be a fine thing to see John Edwards and Ron Paul running together in a power sharing combine. You say that’s impossible? You say they have nothing in common? They’ve got plenty in common and one thing they have in common is enough to make it worth our time. They love America and they’d like to get it on track.
I think it’s time that these men- and any others that want to see real change- come together and recognize their common interests as well as the dangers; great and terrible dangers that face America and the world if the Zionist stooges gain yet more power. They’re already running the show. Wolfowitz, Pearle, Feith, Chertoff, your new attorney general and a host of others are all dual nationals whose interest is Israel’s gain and who view America and its people as canon fodder and financial cows. They’re operating behind the scenes and they want to come out into the open. They’re far enough along that they’ll dare anything now.
These men along with Michael Ledeen, William Kristol and a number of others, lied America into an unnecessary war, are culpably involved in the 9/11 attack and connected at various levels to most of the terrorist activity of the last seven years.
Ron Paul in power is going to throw a spanner into the works. I don’t know about Ron Paul’s chances on his own but aligned with someone like John Edwards it might make for a strong case. Fiscal responsibility is critically needed. Ron Paul’s platform addresses this. Our foreign policy is a shambles; John Edwards could do much to change that. Why would this coalition be a crazy idea when McCain Lieberman isn’t? You hear ridiculous talk that McCain and Lieberman are moderates. They’re neo-cons and they’ve got murder on their minds.
As with most of what I write the idea is to generate thought and hope that along with so many others who want a better world that it will help to form the government we need.
Right now voter fraud is epidemic. While we slept, vicious flesh-eating swine have insinuated themselves into every area of our lives. They’re assaulted the constitution. They’ve assaulted their own country. They’ve made laws designed to criminalize the ordinary citizen. Tazer-trolls are patrolling the malls and streets of your towns and cities. The press is an organ of the neo-cons. We have to bring them down. We need an outcry so pervasive and vast that these neo-cons must flee to the country where their loyalty abides. They intend to make it worse. How much can you take? We’ll see won’t we?
“Occasionally the tree of liberty must be watered with the blood of tyrants.” Your country is in the hands of a hostile, foreign, occupying force. You need Ron Paul to change this condition. Ron Paul needs the help of others with followings of their own to accomplish it. It’s time for everyone of good faith to put aside their small differences and unite behind the much larger common goals that they all share.
People from the different campaigns need to talk to each other. There is room in a new administration for all of these people in their areas of expertise. Make it happen.”
The “fair and balanced” media is obviously controlling what “Joe six-pack” thinks.
Out of sight out of mind.
Thanks for this post.
Ron Paul 2008!
God bless you for honestly reporting the news.
It sickens me to think that they have this power to really inform the masses and they freaking abuse it.
Ron Paul has been censored from day one because he is the ONLY one running that is NOT a CFR affiliate and who wants to get the country back under the Constitution. All the others have been part of the Elitist Powers that have gone to great lengths to eliminsate the Constitution for the past 147 years. They have never had a totally honest Christian man who is exactly what he says he is - they have tried and tried to find some fault in him and they are desperate now because they can’t. And he knows REAL history that they have no clue to, as he has to constantly educate them on the real facts.
Actually Ron Paul is too good for corrupt Washington DC ! He is against their One World Gov’t (OWG) plans and all the other ploys they have prepared for what’s left of America. He wants to get government back to how our Founders establihsed it. And back down to the right size !
The amazing thing is Ron Paul actually got more votes than Hillary Clinton in the state of Nevada, yet the NYT doesn’t have enough ink to even print his name as a candidate?! It is obvious the media doesn’t want Ron Paul to win and they are doing their best to keep people ignorant of his campaign.
The media censorship of Dr. Ron Paul, the candidate not owned by the Council on Foreign Relations that wants to give away our sovereignty to international bankers that own the federal reserve’s corrupt monopoly money, is outrageous. Dr. Paul is supported by the people, the media’s choices are supported by lobbyists and corporations that benefit from corporate welfare that Ron Paul will eliminate.
It is high time we citizens start a Class Action Lawsuit against the 5 Major Media outlets. This is so blatant and has been so thoroughly documented, and they have shape-shifted so many times, and have lost every argument they originally set forth (He is not a top tier), that they have gone too far. We can prove in court that these companies are deliberately and dynamically manipulating the news - this is not just Rupert Murdock, but obviously Collusion of hundreds of media workers. Many people pay for cable TV because (in our fear mongered state) want to get up to date news coverage, and they are being lied to and now the media is basically admitting they are lying. This is Fraud, False Advertising, Collusion, and especially Treason. The Freedom of the Press is listed in the First Amendment. Enough is enough.
The New York Times is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Ron Paul inspires true support among many folks who have never been interested in politics. He is a great man and a true gift to the American people. Giuliani and the other warmongering jackals running for president receive constant press coverage. Ron Paul is still a ‘longshot’ due to the continuous media censorship. FOX NEWS along with the other shepherds of the sheeple censor him and his political views. Romney, McCain and Huckster are nothing more than bloody handed baboons who would keep us in Iraq for 100 years protecting “our oil”. They would send more of our young people to their deaths while their own sons live high on the hog in their Dad’s mansions. All the Republican candidates except Dr. Paul are sly snakes trying to slither into the oval office. The sad thing is all of them are starting to steal Ron Paul’s talking points about ending the IRS and going back to the constitution but the sheeple that support them and vote them into office are to stupid to see it.
Brutal….
From a world-famous paper and America’s biggest city no less!
Absolutely disgraceful for the NY Times to “remove” bits of news it doesn’t like.
This is the kind of “I-decide-what’s-news” stuff normally reserved for China’s state run Xinhua news, not the newspaper where the Statue of Liberty calls home. Americans, you should be shocked and outraged.
Canadian guy living in Asia.
I think the NYT should be getting plowed under with letters about this AND what would really hurt is if any of those who read it, who have a conscience, stop reading it and cancel their subscriptions. These people are incredibly blatant in their bias.
If you want to contact them…
New York Times provides this e-mail address
public@nytimes.com to contact if you question
their “paper’s journalistic integrity”.
Thank you for bringing this to everyone’s attention. I also will never believe another word the New York Times says. They are obviously trying to tell us that the sky is purple, and think we’ll believe it. Unfortunately, many still do. Let the Free Market put the New York Times in the trash.
It is no longer “conspiracy” theory. The media denigration or disregard for Ron Paul is a fact. There are numerous instances, too many to list and too many to say it’s a coincidence. I do not wear a tin foil hat, don’t subscribe to all the conspiracies, but the media game playing is blatantly obvious. Recently MSNBC’S David Schuster joined Fox news Hannity, Carl Cameron et al as an anti-Ron Paul cheerleader…
Why is “frontrunner” Guliani a “frontrunner” …who is he fronting for?
Ron Paul has beaten him in fund raising, debates, straw polls and nearly every primary/caucus…Fred Thompson too.
These victories are DESPITE all the free press Rudy and Fred get and all the negative press RP got and still gets.
Does anyone even care to discuss real issues in depth anymore? We are in deep doo doo, we lap up the soundbites and pick from the “choices” we are given by media and the corporate masters…Dumb, very dumb and worse very dangerous.
War for oil is accepted and soon no pretense will be necessary to attack other countries. Now the newest “economic revival package” on the horizon…give the taxpayers an $800 refund.
Yee haw, lookee what I got in the mail! Free money!!!
Wake up dummies it’s not “free money”…you are borrowing from yourself again…Can you say deficit…looming depression? We are a foolish and gluttonous people and we will regret our negligence and stupidity.
Go ahead and vote for a front runner…see what you “win” Ha ha ha. Listen to GW…GO out and spend the “free money”, be a patriot, help out the economy…by putting yourself deeper in debt. Does anyone have any idea what each of us owes the national debt? Didn’t think so.
I wouldn’t dare use it as toilet paper either. With the kind of crap reporting aka spin, you would only be getting dirtier.
NYTimes are not a “corporate” tool,
they are a COMMUNIST MARXIST TOOL,
get it right ok. All corporations
are not evil, but all communist Marxists
like the nytimes are, get it right or stop making stories because you sound like
a marxist yourself when you keep
using the term “corporate” as
an evil word.
There is no more
democracy in the United states, the
media who are a bunch of Marxists
have been ALLOWED to infiltrate
this nation and take over media
and educational outlets for the last 50 years, now it is THEY who decide who will be
voted for and who will not be by
what they portray to the public. It is
time to get out of this wicked nation
forever, it has been cursed by God
as far as I am concerned. Ron Paul
was the last sign, now the judgment
will come upon this Marxist
manipulating media nation.
I stand corrected - Marxist tool it is.
HAH, look your OWN WEBSITE is run
by similar marxists or Ron Paul haters.
Look at the right side of this page
and read the poll:
” If forced to vote for one of the ‘big four’ Republican candidates, which would you choose?
Rudy Giuliani (53)
Mitt Romney (99)
John McCain (66)
Fred Thompson (66)”
You need to call YOUR OWN company by the same words you rightly called the NTtimes (but you should have used marxist tools instead) because OBVIOUSLY your own company is guided by the same hatred of Ron Paul.
REPEAT FOR THE HARD OF LEARNING
“For the 10,000th time - READ THE POLL
The poll on the right says of the 4 MAINSTREAM ‘big 4′ who would you choose.
We ALREADY HAD a poll of all the candidates, and it is RIGHT ON THE HOMEPAGE with RON PAUL the easy winner.
and it is also here
http://www.charlotteconservative.com/index.php/2007/10/election-2008-presidential-poll/
When you have done as much to support Dr. Paul as we have here, come back and read a bit better then throw insults.
“
In addition, not only is your own company Ron Paul haters, but obviously it is ALSO a fake conservative site controlled by Marxists as well just like the NYtimes. Your main banner right now is promoting the “The God who wasn’t there”, a total antichrist and absolute Marxist propaganda film. You have no shame do you.
Conservatism has now been hijacked in the usa by marxists just like the left. To all readers here you cannot trust any media outlets anymore, they are tools for the Marxist police state soon coming upon North America.
haha. Wow get a clue.
http://www.charlotteconservative.com/?s=paul
There is a search of all we have had to do with supporting Ron Paul.
Please send a link to what you have done to help?
Have a great day Max, good luck with the aluminum foil helmet.
Since the New York Times or any other newspaper
media is censoring RON PAUL, STOP BUYING THEIR
NEWSPAPER. You can also do a google search and
find out who NYT’s advertiser sponsor’s are
and DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS…….It is just
a way to say “Back at ya, Bud.”
Could someone please give me a definition for autodetermination (other than in French). and yes, David Rockerfeller is the devil. and yes, everyone should read “Orwell’s 1984″. I read it 43 years ago and thought it fiction. I re read it last year and thought it is fact!
Thank you for covering the blatant censorship and media bias. Why this is not more obvious to the general population, I have no clue. But I very much appreciate Michael Kraft’s coverage of this important issue. The media should not dictate which candidate is electable, which candidate deserves the most coverage, or no coverage at all, the voters should decide.
Here too same ban on the west coast, no story, or tiny tiny story, about Ron Paul SECOND in Nevada, the LA Times removed RP from main articles, he’s only shown on some online side blog, which is not making it to the printed stuff that comes to people’s doorstep. All you hear is about Billary, Obama and other pro-amnesty candidate who will NOT fix the SouthWest and Mexifornia
I encourage everyone to hammer medias with angrymails!
Thank you for not being afraid to print the truth. Now do you see what we’ve been yelling about all along!
This is no joke; if I wasn’t seeing the across the board media black out of Ron Paul for myself; I wouldn’t have believed it.
Never did I think this would happen in America! I will work even harder to have Ron Paul’ message heard.
Facism has reared its ugly head and it’s taking over America.
Ron Paul is Paul Revere; let’s hope America wakes up because the enemy is upon us!
People who rely on the media for balanced coverage of the candidates are being manipulated and controlled. Ron Paul has beat out Giuliani and Thompson 2 and 3 times now, and has beat all except Romney including Huckabee and McCain in Nevada. He is a viable candidate - this type of media control is scary in a country that is supposed to be a democracy. Mitt Romney and the other candidates should be speaking up and saying something about this!!!
Defenders of Liberty? Come on!!!
I am sickened by this news! this is an absolute outrage What is going on here can they do this???? help
I Wish there was someone out with hugh amounts of money Who would be willing to fight these media monsters, and their corporate war monger bosses. By placing a full page ad for Ron Paul in every one of their Papers that cencored him. I know this is just a pipe dream, but none the less a good one. There ought to be something we can do to get Ron Paul the coverage he so rightly deserves. It’s a crying shame what this country has come to. Americans should hold a massive protest to fight against these Hellians. That’s what it’s going to take People. A Fight for the American Way, as set for us in The Constitution.

This is to note for the record your Orwellian omission of Ron Paul from your “Election Guide 2008″ page http://politics.nytimes.com/election-guide/2008/results/delegates/index.html and also note you blatantly mis-represented the results of the Nevada Republican Caucus in order to minimize the good doctor’s impact.

Given that Dr. Paul is doing better by almost any measure than Rudy Giuliani or Fred Thompson, and by some measures better than John McCain, this can hardly be accidental on your part. Perhaps you should change your motto to, “All the news that fits a statist sycophant agenda.” Down the memory hole, indeed.
It is disheartening to witness this from an organization that used to be allegedly committed to quality journalism, but given your long historical record of carrying water for dictatorships, I suppose it’s only to be expected.
Thomas Watts
Roswell, New Mexico
The first words that come to my mind to describe the deliberate prohibition on recognizing and including any mention of Ron Paul in reporting by so many in what is considered to be the mainstream media included mind-boggling, outrageous, contemptible, despicable, dishonorable, detestable and loathsome. Rupert Murdoch, the executives of News Corporation and its subsidiaries, along with the top executives of the other major media corporations throughout the broadcast and print industry should all collectively receive the Joseph Stalin / Joseph Goebbels award for excellence.
Initially, I was willing to accept the initial disregard Ron Paul received as simple arrogance or ignorance. I believed that if Dr. Paul showed he had support and had respectable results in some of the early contests that the media would start to acknowledge his performance, even if it was sure to be biased in some cases. How wrong I was. I admit it now. This situation cannot be explained away as simple neglect. I must now conclude their actions have to be deliberate.
Additionally, we cannot ignore the responsibility of the journalists who it seems are now active and willing participants in the aforementioned prohibition. They are all so proud to call themselves journalists, but the word loses it meaning in these circumstances. What has happened to the fourth estate? The institutions of higher learning that granted them their degrees should be asking for their return.
I also have to ask, where is the FCC in all this? A government institution that has oversight powers of these licensed businesses should be investigating and assuring the public that they will not stand for this type of deliberate and unethical behavior, as it could be considered a threat to the public interest. (Which I really hate saying as a small ‘l’ libertarian.) However, I suspect (as should you all) that it is likely the powers that be in Washington D.C. and in the corporate boardrooms have almost total control of this agency and will simply disregard any complaints. I hope the FCC proves me wrong. I will not hold my breath.
The evidence is quite staggering, and apparently a SOMEONE or a few SOMEONE’S are manipulating this election. I wish someone would form a class action lawsuit and teach these assholes a lesson. The American people are suffering from these people manipulating and running everything in order for them the make a buck…I think they owe us for damages.
Since noone I am acquainted with has unlimited sources of money, there is only one solution I can think of. Turn off your televisions and cancel all your newspaper and news magazines subscriptions. Read a book or study the constitution. Have your children read books on the revolution.
Our letters to the editors arevlike water running from a duck’s back.
Guess what!
Just went to the NYTimes Page, and who has finally been post up there with the other candidates?
That’s right, our man Paul!
A little progress . . .
the NYT is a neo-con rag, they just hired Bill Kristol as a guest contributor. f em.
YAY! Thanks!
Daughters of Vietnam Veterans for Ron PAUL!
Peace!
thank you again for reporting this. you are a great american
