Well after the discovery that Ron Paul had been purposely omitted from the NYTimes coverage they finally put his name on their website. The New York Times online coverage of the primaries showed 8 candidates results in a neat chart, but did not even list Ron Paul as a cadidate. This continued even after Ron Paul had finished 2nd in Nevada.

Ron Paul has beat Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson in almost every primary thusfar, and the New York Times did not even put him on the website as a candidate.

Well, today they did add him finally. It was not a late attempt at integrity, but only becase Fred Thompson dropped out today leaving an extra slot.

You can now see him side by side with Rudy Giuliani who he has outperformed consistantly through the first 5 primaries.

Actually you’re not quite accurate. They posted Paul’s picture earlier today, replacing Rudy Giuliani. Later when Fred Thompson dropped out they put Giuliani back up to replace Thompson.

Actually, the NYT earlier today had deleted Guiliani and replaced him with Ron Paul. Then, when the news came out that Thompson had quit the race, they added Guiliani back in!

They may have added him to the list of candidates however they are not listing the delegates that he has earned so far. So much for them fixing their bias.

To be fair, they actually had included Dr. Paul earlier today and had removed Giuliani believe it or not (too bad I don’t have a screenshot).

And then when Fred announced he was dropping, they must have swapped Fred out with Rudy.

Great! Now if you can get the Charlotte Observer to include Congressman Paul in the voting poll we would have to places that have stopped ignoring him.

    A NEW HOPE
We all have been living a nightmare. A vision D. Eisenhower warned of in his 1961 farewell address to the nation. In his address, Eisenhower warned of the corruption of our government, our society, and our culture by the MILITARY INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX. It seems that as a nation, we have not listened. Eisenhower’s dire vision has become our reality. And from this fearful dream, this nation is waking. Our eyes are opening to the truth collectively for the first time. WE THE PEOPLE are finding that we have been subjugated, placated into ignorance and fear, lied to by the very people we have entrusted to preserve and protect our rights, liberties, and our constitution. Many will turn away in fear of truth and close their eyes once again. To open our eyes to this reality, is to also understand that we are all responsible for it as well. complacency and dependence upon the machine keeps THE PEOPLE in line because it is convenient and safe. We have sold our souls. We have as a nation let this happen to ourselves.
My heart breaks for the people of this nation. Our government wages war upon our freedoms, liberties, and our constitution. I watch our republic’s destruction, not to the sound of guns or bombs, but to the sound of thunderous applause of those held captive by terrified patriotic blindness, guided by the propaganda of fear, as we give our rights and even the lives of our fellow man for the profit of the corrupt. A fear that is erasing our great history of freedom and repeating itself 70 years later with another dictatorship of war, under the guise of homeland security and the protection of the people.
    BUT THERE IS STILL HOPE.
With love and openness, we can overcome ignorance and fear. It is our right as the people, and my duty as a United States MARINE written into our constitution by our founding fathers, entrusted to us, by the people, to ensure that our liberty, freedom, and the constitution never again become the subjugation of the corruption that we have wrought upon ourselves. We must take back our country, and give it to the people. So let us open our hearts, take responsibility, and make our HOPE become our reality. Lets begin REVOLUTION. His name

    Dr. Ron Paul

They didn’t add Ron Paul because Thompson dropped out. They actually pulled Rudy down yesterday and replaced him with Paul. This was due to the fact that someone had mailed CNN and pointed it out to them. It probably wasn’t the first person who mailed them with a complaint, but this person claimed to be making a European documentary regarding the elections in the US.

Thompson’s out, Huck is out of cash, Julie Annie is broke too.

    What does this tell you?

It is that there are three ways to fund a candidate: corporate funding from special interests, personal wealth or from the pockets of grassroots supporters.

I’ve donated three times to Dr. Paul.. and I’ll keep supporting him until he gets the nomination and the presidency. Then, I’ll work to help stop the war however I can.

That’s the message, that is why I will vote for Ron Paul

I tracked this story from Google Alerts. It was marked “CNN.com – Charlotte Observer.”
If anyone watched Lou Dobbs on CNN tonight (Tues.), the poll question was which candidate could handle the economic crisis & listed the candidates starting with Rudi 1st but no Ron Paul. Needless to say, I did not vote but sent 2 e-mails to CNN asking why the most capable candidate was not listed, but Rudi was 1st on the list who has won nothing. Some of you may also wish to contact CNN about this blatant intentional omission.

Tim Gallien, I couldnt have said it better. We are indeed living the nightmare Eisenhower warned of. As a proud U.S. Army veteran and patriot, I stand with you, ready to return the country to the people, punish the treasonous bastards that betrayed us, and set things right. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for freedom, a vote for anyone else is a vote for the status quo.

Isn’t it amazing how even the great NY Times has become just another whore for the military-industrial complex? How sad we can no longer trust what was once the measure of true greatness – our free and independent press. Today the press is just another department of corporate america trying desperately to find a way to manipulate and steal from the middle class. We need Dr. Paul and the people that have heard the truth in his message. To save America we need to hear the truth. We now know definitively that that truth will not come from the pages of the NY Times – a once great paper, now a cheap streetwalker. Sad – so sad – but we must move on to find the truth. Soon we will loose that ability. Soon the government will attempt to censor the internet. If that happens we will have no choice but to fight. Hopefully that will not happen. Hopefully the message that Dr. Paul has become the carrier of will get out and the man on the street will come to realize that it is a new day and he/she must look out for a new truth. Vote for freedom and responsibility. We should not have the greatest generation followed by the most reviled generation. Give our children a chance. Stop the insanity!! We can not afford this war!! We need to take care of ourselves and our planet. Peace, Love. mgg
