South Carolina Fairtax Rally
Carnes to Speak at Pre-Debate FairTax Rally
United States Senate candidate Tim Carnes announced today that he has accepted an invitation to speak at the January 10th FairTax rally, which will take place prior to the Republican Presidential Primary Debate in Myrtle Beach.
Carnes will be one of several speakers at the event, which is expected to feature an address by Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. Like Huckabee, Carnes has fully endorsed the FairTax plan, which calls for the abolition of the federal income tax and other payroll-based taxes, and has made it a part of his official campaign platform.

Thank you Tim, will you be joining Huckabee in Columbia at any time? And can you get us a press pass for the speeches if needed.
The Fairtax could harness the support of the environmental movement and the labor unions if services were taxed at a lower rate than new products. More US dollars would go to Americans in service and repair and less money would go overseas for purchasing cheap new products.
