MSNBC Democratic Debate
Well, I am sitting through this against my will. The line of questioning is clearly more detailed and less vague than ever before. Clinton didn’t wait long to use Saturday Night Live as a reference tool and say maybe Barack Obama needs a pillow for comfort.
Clinton continues to try and deny she ever supported NAFTA, and the host has pulled out an army of quotes to show her that in 1992, 1996, 2000, and 2002 she repeatedly has spoke out in support of NAFTA and only now am changing her point of view to fit the primary in Ohio.
Ohio has been greatly hurt by the deals of her husband and now she has changed her story only to be caught lying by the debate host.
Clinton seems to open every sentence with “Senator Obama said”…..wahh wahh wahh. A desperate person throwing stones at an opponant that is further ahead in the race with every word she cries out. It is refreshing to see them use the dirty tactics on each other instead of the steady name calling they use against Republican opponants.
“He basically said lets bomb Pakistan”
Hillary has seemed a bit more specific in her answers for a change and seems to be winning the debate, but nobody likes the constant mudslinging she falls back on every 2nd answer.
“Once we have driven the bus into the ditch there is only a couple of ways to get out.
The question is who is making the decision to drive into the ditch.” – Obama
“Tim , you ask alot of hypotheticals.” – Clinton
This line is the first thing she has said that I 100% agree with. The debate seemed like the host was leading them through the essay portion of the SAT’s. The line of questioning seemed so specific and what-if in nature that neither candidate ever gets to come with any specific of relevent responses.
