Jake Morphonios from nolanchart.com brings us this news as to how Ron Paul is being atacked at home while fighting nationally for the constitutional ideals.

“Dr. Paul has always put his country first, much to his own degredation. For 20 years he has been mocked and scorned in Congress by his peers. As a Presidential candidate he has been called a clown, a joke, a kook, a terrorist-sympathizer, a racist and every other epithet that enemies of freedom could come up with. And yet he persists. He isn’t getting anything out of this for himself, other than the satisfaction that he is helping preserve the freedoms of his countrymen and his posterity. He’s going all the way to the Republican convention to fight for us and our beliefs, in spite of the odds against him winning. That is integrity.

….while Ron Paul has focused on fighting for us on a national level, a Texas snake in the grass has slithered up from behind and threatens to remove Paul from Congress. Of this matter, Ron Paul wrote:

“If I were to lose the primary for my congressional seat, all our opponents would react with glee, and pretend it was a rejection of our ideas. I cannot and will not let that happen… I need your support.”

If Ron Paul does not win the Presidency, then we NEED him desperately to keep fighting for us in Congress.

This isn’t the first time that Ron Paul has faced significant opposition from his fellow Republicans. In 1996, Paul was reelected to Congress after a very difficult battle against the Republican establishment. House Speaker Newt Gingrich, Texas Governor George W. Bush, and the NRA all turned against Paul and threw their support to another Republican during the Texas primaries. Who was this opponent? His name was Greg Laughlin - a man who switched from the Democrat party after receiving promises of support from Gingrich and others if he ran against Paul. The neo-cons thought Laughlin would be more inclined to follow their neo-con agenda than Ron Paul. It does not surprise this author that so many of today’s “Republicans” have thrown support to McCain in this election. For people who prefer to put party allegience ahead of principle, there is no such thing as loyalty.

With the help of baseball star Nolan Ryan and Presidential candidate Steve Forbes, Paul went on to defeat the Laughlin-Gingrich-Bush “axis of evil”. This was the third time he won a seat in Congress as a non-incumbent in the 14th Congressional District - which is, by the way, larger than the entire state of Massachussetts.

The neo-cons don’t like one of their own standing up to them. Now they are doing it again. Paul’s opponent has raised twice as much money and faces a significant threat to Paul’s seat in the 14th Congressional District of Texas. His opponent is engaging in slanderous assaults on Dr. Paul’s integrity and honesty. He calls Ron Paul the leader of the “liberals that blame America first” and says that Ron Paul is an enemy of our own military.

Are we going to sit here idly while the man who has done so much for us is viciously attacked Ron Paul needs support from us?

GO TO RON PAUL’S CONGRESSIONAL CAMPAIGN SITE AND MAKE A DONATION RIGHT NOW!

Don’t wait for some fancy “money bomb” date to tie your donation to. The Texas primary is March 4th and he needs the money right now to defend his district from being taken over by a warmongering man who supports the Patriot Act and the host of neo-con laws and efforts to turn America into a fascist state.

Ron Paul has never betrayed us or backed out of a fight to defend our rights. We owe him our loyalty. Skip your McDonald’s Big Mac, fries and Coke today… instead, give your 5 bucks to Ron Paul at:

Excelent post! As soon as I cash my paycheck today, I’m going to send some money to his congressional campaign. Everyone else should do the same.

It’s the least we can do to, we need to keep Ron Paul in his Congressional position. His District should not give in like the country has. Let’s do all we can to help, first is to donate.

The media tries to pretend that Ron Paul does not exist. The media should not choose our next president. Ron Paul has a lot more support then everyone wants to admit. I live in AZ and was not able to vote for him in our Primary because of our state rules (that’s right I can’t vote for who I want). There have also been stories of his name being “accidentally left off the ballot” and people making up statements that he has dropped out of the campaign. THE GOVERNMENT IS AFRAID OF A CANDIDATE LIKE RON PAUL. HE SUPPORTS THE PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTRY AND OUR RIGHTS. How could anyone really vote for someone who thinks that we should be in Iraq for the next 100 years? Then on to Iran? How many more people have to die for special interests? If we actually needed our troops in the U.S. we wouldn’t even have any available to protect us. They are all in other countries where they should not be. Bring our troops home and protect our borders. Why even waste anymore time? We do not have the right to be the police of the world nor should we. We our destroying our own economy by fighting wars that we can’t win.

Our Government prints money out of thin air and borrows more from other countries then we can ever pay back which is killing us and the value of our dollar is rapidly dropping. Do you really think that the government brainwashed zombies and liars have done a good job with our country so far? Bush has been one of the worst presidents in history. You all fell for his BS. He used the emotions of our country after 9/11 to put us in a war that benefits him, his friends, and his family members. Why allow them to throw us further down? Fighting wars that can never be won and wasting our hard earned money on their special interests. The companies that get bids to do jobs in countries where we are at war, they get over paid, and the money trail always comes back to people in the Government that are in some way affiliated with that company.

ACCORDING TO THE CONSTITUTION THE GOVERNMENT HAS NO RIGHT TO TAX US. THEY TAKE OUR MONEY AND USE IT FOR THEIR INTERESTS. THEY SPEND OUR TAX MONEY ON WHATEVER THEY WANT. Then they want to send us a small check to keep us quiet. Its time for us all to stand up for ourselves and fight this!!!

IT IS TIME FOR EVERY CITIZEN IN THIS COUNTRY TO COME TOGETHER AND STOP ALLOWING OUR GOVERNMENT TO TREAT US LIKE SLAVES. RON PAUL IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE THAT CARES ABOUT YOU.

Michael it is good to see that you are still a vocal supporter of Ron Paul.

I also like to go to his Congress Campaign site and see the names of people all over the United States donating to RP. The neocons can not match his national organization of grass roots support. He does not need their stinking money or support or endorsements.

It drives them crazy and that makes me happy. We need him and a lot more like him in congress. Beating that lying Penden should not be that hard I think.

He has not ‘always put his country first’, he has put shrimp farmers and other contributors first.. he just uses Constitutional rhetoric while he panders to truthers, klansmen, and america hating leftists. Here in TX14, a lot of people are starting to refer to him as Fraud Paul now that we’ve seen what his real record is. That, or Teflon Ron based on how his cult can make an excuse for everything he does.

    From article:
    “…he has been called a clown, a joke, a kook, a terrorist-sympathizer, a racist…”

Remember, when the politically correct use the term racist, they simply mean white Gentiles who discriminate.

It is a racial slur directed only at white Gentiles. Racist = honky, or honky-ish.

So, the translation of the quote would be: “…he has been called a clown, a joke, a kook, a terrorist-sympathizer, a honky…”

  7. MSchaut on February 15th, 2008 7:54 pm

Of course they’re trying to take him OUT of the republican party. The only good thing about that is then he is FREE to run THIRD PARTY and if that’s the case then people can ACTUALLY vote for him, outside of the monstrous games the parties are playing with the elections. They have taken our country away from us and they AREN’T GOING TO GIVE IT BACK. No matter what. Even if it means a trumped ‘terrorist incident’ that instigates martial law and a suspension of the Constitution for six months. Even if it means assassination or elimination of him and everyone that won’t tow the fascist line they’re bringing down on us. The truth is that we’ve already lost our country and it will be HELL trying to get it back.

“while he panders to truthers, klansmen, and america hating leftists”

    Really Jackie?

Ron Paul is the furthest of all candidates from the far left. He is the strongest opposed to government controls of all congressmen. He is the exact opposite of a Pelosi or Kennedy in every way.

So next tiem you leave a drive by post with the fake email address of j@j.com…

try making it at least the slightest bit believable.

Ron Paul is the most inspiring and refreshing candidate I have ever had the pleasure of seeing in a debate. You and MSNBC and FOX and CNN can all get together and lie to each other, but nobody else anywhere is believing it.

The most popular with young voters, he most popular with Military, the most popular with independents, democrats and libertarians, Ron Paul is easy for anyone of any position to like because he has no agenda other than going by the book….the original American user’s manual….The US Constitution.

I am happy to say that we in Charlotte have one of the next best Congress-persons in the nation With our own Sue Myrick. I only hope the TX14 appreciate what a rare great American represents them.

The NRA opposed Ron Paul?!? WHAT? How could they come up with a better man than Ron Paul on 2nd Ammendment rights? Is this NRA-national rifle association? My whole sense of reality is turned upside down. Is everybody in this country a Neocon TOOL?

  11. TFS on February 16th, 2008 12:53 pm

Chris Peden is a joke. Besides being a liar, he is unexperienced, uninformed, manipulative, and dishonest. His slanderous remarks and utter disrespect for Dr. Paul is atrocious.

  12. Kevitivity on February 18th, 2008 6:29 pm

Hello? Ron’s campaign was over months ago. He has no support save for a small band of extra pathetic internet dweebs. Why are we wasting time talking about this buffoon?

  13. Michael Kraft on February 19th, 2008 2:20 am

    Haaaaahaa.

Was this before or after he out FUND RAISED MCCain in the last 2 Quarters?

Or was this about the time he raised 6,000,000 in one day? the new all time record in the history of elections?

Or was this before he outdid Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson in every primary state?

I guess we wont get an answer since you put a fake email to avoid the 2-3 dweebs writing you?
