“I have made it very clear that I think it may be a problematic for the Senate to get to 60 votes, even with Olympic Snowe, we just had Senator Lieberman to announce that he will join with Republicans in filibustering this bill, I think there are other Democrats who will do the same thing, so that’s why, I have said time and time again, that 60 is not magic number, the magic number is 50, that particular day the Vice President will be in the chair, so if we can get 50 Senators to vote for it, the Vice President will cast the vote if it’s tied at 50-50
Dems don’t care about the 46% of America that voted Republican.
