Huffington Excuses Begin
Here is some pieces of “news” from the communist rag Huffington Post. Huffington’s contributor David Sirota if trying to convince you that losing NJ, Virginia and the NY-23 election are not as important as the news says.
Lets just look and decode the liberal stupidity one piece at a time.
Huffington Trash writer David Sirota says:
“I appeared on CNN American Morning yesterday to discuss today’s highest profile elections. You can watch the segment here – I tried to make the point that while these elections are important, and while the Democratic Party certainly has its problems right now, these contests do a better job of illustrating severe Republican weakness than anything else right now.
New Jersey Governor going republican for the first time in 30 years? And Virginia going Republican for the first in a decade with a 15% swing to Republican. David Sirota says this “illustrates severe Republican weakness”? Does that make any sense at all to anyone? Sounds like the excuses are coming out already for Obama campaigning and failing just like the Olympics?
“Karl Rove and the Beltway Punditburo are busy trying to tell us all why the three big elections today – the Virginia gubernatorial, the New Jersey gubernatorial, and the New York special congressional election – are a referendum on President Obama and the progressive agenda, and a bellwether for future elections. While Chris is absolutely right in saying that the national Democratic Party clearly has some issues it needs to work through, the idea that these three races are big-time commentaries on progressivism itself is is just plain moronic – even for a Washington chattering class that is made up mostly of morons.”
Insert the maditory insults above. Mostly morons, not geniuses like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and barrack Obama who have spent one full year getting paid and doing nothing. All with a complete majority. They cannot even convince their own party of their ideas. But this next bit is where the liberal/communist mouthpiece really doesn’t get reality.
“Virginia has long been a conservative, Republican-leaning southern state, and it is coming off four successive statewide wins by Democrats (Warner for Governor, Kaine for Governor, Webb for Senate and Warner for Senate). On top of that, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate, Creigh Deeds, has run a pretty lackluster general election campaign, making the strategically stupid decision to run away from Obama. For all these reasons, Virginia’s gubernatorial race was bound to go for the Republicans in 2009. Indeed, if this race is even close I’d say it’s a reflection that Virginia Republicans are incredibly weak.”
“that Virginia Republicans are incredibly weak?”
The last two Democrat Governors won by 7% and 5% in the elections.
Today the Republican will win by 10-15%, which is a 15 to 20% swing in voting. In one term a 20% swing from Democrat to Republican in Virginia Governor’s race.
David Sirota says a 20% swing is “…a reflection that Virginia Republicans are incredibly weak”. Sounds like a desperate socialist making excuses before the votes are even counted.
If that’s “weak”, then ill take “weak” all the way to the bank, moron.
“Finally, when it comes to the supposed “bellwether” special election in New York’s 23rd district, everyone seems to forget what the ultraconservative Weekly Standard quietly admits: This seat has been held by Republicans for 138 years. The idea that a district that has been in GOP hands since the end of the Civil War is some sort of telltale gauge of national trends is absolutely laughable – especially when you consider that, as In These Times notes, organized labor has been split between the Democratic and Republican candidate. Again, in a state where high-profile Democrats like Eliot Spitzer and David Paterson haven’t exactly helped their party image, the real news here is that a Democrat has even managed to put up a serious fight – not that Republicans might hold onto a seat they’ve controlled for more than a century.”
Ok this last paragraph pretty much confirms that David Sirota doesn’t have the brain power to light up a wrist watch.
This is a true example of the moron’s being printed at the Huffington Post.
He says: “This seat has been held by Republicans for 138 years. The idea that a district that has been in GOP hands since the end of the Civil War is some sort of telltale gauge of national trends is absolutely laughable”
This is not a Republican candidate that will win Mr Sirota, this is the Conservative candidate. Doug Hoffman is NOT the Republican candidate, he does not have an ‘R’ next to his name.
Doug Hoffman is running against Dede Scozzafava TEAMED WITH Democrat Bill Owens and leading them both.
There is no Republican candidate.
The “Republican candidate” Dede Scozzafava in this race suported Obama’s bailout, Cap and trade and Card Check for unions. The Republican Dede Scozzafava supported all the same ideas that the Democrat did.
The “Republican candidate” Dede Scozzafava also dropped out and endorsed the Democrat Bill Owens in this race Mr. Sirota.
Remember Dede Scozzafava is endorsing the Democrat, and the “Conservative” is going to beat them both.
Cause there was two liberals.
Get used to failure Mr. Sirota, it’s the final outcome of all liberal ideas once the phony hollywood campaigns are over with and it’s time to actually lead.
