The Obama Loser Jinx

Once there was a time that “hope and change” could get the people out and turn a loser like, for example, Beverly Purdue into a winner. Obama has since become synonymous with big government and the problems of not listening to the people. More to the point, Obama has become the kiss of death to anyone that wants the support of Americans.
Obama is the “new George Bush”, the new pariha in the political spectrum and anywhere else there are winners and losers.
Obama has made personal appearances for Jon Corzine in New Jersey, Creigh Deeds in Virginia, Martha Coakley in Massachusetts, The Olympics in Chicago and now most recently he did a conference call with the National #1 ranked Kentucky Wildcats Basketball team. Obama thanked them for their charity work and wished them luck before a game at unranked South Carolina.
The last 5 competitors Obama has backed or supported publicaly have all gone down in flames. If you include the wasted trip to Copenhagen where nothing happened for “climate change” you could put our “historic” president at a sad 0-6.
The only political victory the Democrats have had is the New York special election for congress. Obama decided not to get involved at all with that race and the Democrat won.
On closer look, all of the races Obama “helped” in have been far worse than even the poll numbers. The more he helped the worse it got for whomever he supported. NJ, MASS and Virgina were landslide losses relative to expectations. The Olympics eliminated Obama and Oprah first, not even close to considering them.
And most recently the Kentucky Wildcats were 7 point favorites before the blessing of the pariha and chief.
Here is the confernece call to the Kentucky players wishing them luck right before they lost their undefeated season.
“What’s going on all-star?” the president said. “I’ve been watching you.” Wall invited Obama to watch Kentucky play in person and suggested a game of “HORSE.”
“I’m not going to play horse with you,” Obama replied, “because I don’t want to lose.” The president suggested a friendly pickup game. “I’m going to make sure I have you on my team,” Obama told Wall
South Carolina, which is one of the most reddest states in America then went on to soundly beat the #1 Wildcats giving them their first loss of the year.
19 games without the Obama jinx, 19-0…1 game with, 0-1.
Yesterday a caller to Mark Stein on the Rush Limbaugh show, calling from New Orleans, begged the president to go visit Peyton Manning and the Colts before the Superbowl and put his support behind them.
The Colts are currently favored in the Superbowl, but well see if he decides to bring the contagious “loser” bug to Indy and do them in as well.
