Bev Perdue resigns and blames others

THIS JUST IN: Liberal Democrat residing over the state hosting the DNC in 2012 who is trailing 11% in all polls and has no chance to win….and has seen her state go backwards in all statistics….RESIGNS.
THIS ALSO IN: She blamed Republicans, it had nothing to do with her going to lose, going to make Obama look bad or her bad results and own performance.
In short, “George Bush did it!”.
Well the news came out today that Bev Perdue the current Governor of North Carolina will not be seeking re-election.
It is a move that was basically the same as knocking all the chess pieces off the board to avoid losing.
the Governor, who won office on Obama’s voters, is getting off the hope and change bus with it’s four flat tires.
In line with all of the Democrats that retired and resigned in the 2010 midterms to avoid losing Governor Purdue is citing a list of reasons that have nothing to do with her own performance.
The Hope and Change bus has in 2012 turned into the hope and blame bus.
The same liberal agenda that took power in 2008, and had total control of all branches of US government, and passed two of the largest pieces of legislation and waste in modern history without a single Republican vote, are now blaming the republicans for not “working together”
The Governor released this statement filled with blaming others for the decline of North Carolina under her rule
“…. I understand this: We live in highly partisan times, where some people seem more worried about scoring political points than working together to address the real challenges our state faces. And it is clear to me that my race for re-election will only further politicize the fight to adequately fund our schools. A re-election campaign in this already divisive environment will make it more difficult to find any bipartisan solutions….I hope this decision will open the door to an honest and bipartisan effort to help our schools.”
This press release by the departing governor comes days after the President used his constitutionally mandated State of the Union address to attack his opponents in the upcoming election on the floor of the US Congress.
Instead of leaving with some sense of responsibility for the state of North Carolina, the Democrat Governor is following the lead of the president that won her job for her. Bev Perdue isn’t winning or succeeding, so shes gonna “take her ball and go home”.
She wants the people of North Carolina to place the blame on those that serve beneath her.
Beverly Purdue wants you to think the decision has nothing at all to do with the fact that she is far behind in all polls for reelection.
The fact is that Bev Perdue was going to lose badly to the likely Republican candidate (Pat Mcrory?)
Making this decision nothing more than a politician trying to save face.
Last polls in on January 8th,2012 show this
01/08/2012 NC-GOV 2012→ R:Pat McCrory 52.0% •D:Bev Perdue 41.0% •
So save your fake reasons for the Obama Campaign trail.
In the end, she left North Carolina worse off than it was when she got the job. She knows that the next Governor has to be someone that the president can stand with at the DNC in Charlotte The president doesn’t want to be seen with someone who is behind by 10 points in the polls.
So before the door hits you on the way out, stop pretending you did this for any other reason but your own pride and the good of your party.
