Completed Online GOP Primary Poll

Article By Writer Michael Kraft By Michael Kraft on January 16, 2012

This is the final results from our online poll. This poll has been on our homepage for the past 6 months. While it does have safeguards, it is unscientific since we do attract alot of Libertarian readers on our site.

But if nothing else it does show the strength and enthusiasm of online and offline followers for the candidates. Each person could only vote once and it requires a person who is interested in voting to find the poll in the first place. So I interpret the results as a less than perfect sample group but an indication of the most active supporters.

Not much a surprise that Ron Paul leads an online based poll, but more the issue is how much he leads. May not reflect the country as a whole, but surely it indicates amazing strength right in Obama’s young and online active voting base.

Raises money, has an online following of young voters, represents change and the enthusiasm displayed by the left leaning activists against the war. I take from this poll that Obama’s strength in campaigning can easily be matched by the strengths of Ron Paul and his following.

Who’s ‘your guy’ for the 2012 election?
