I get email updates from Spirit Airlines. They are a low cost budget airline that offer fares down to $9 for puddle jumper flights.
This is the email I got informing me that they are now required by this administration’s Department of Transportation to hide the taxes inside the cost of their tickets.
In an effort to make the false appearance of low taxes, the government chooses to force a private business to look like the guilty party.
Now it will appear there is no tax to a consumer, but it will also appear that a private business is the one raising rates.
Let the private sector take the blame so the government’s endless taxing can go unnoticed.
Sounds familiar like the inflation tax that Ron Paul has referred to in debates. The endless printing of money by Obama and his socialist friends makes the dollar fall in value and everything you buy go up.
FACT: When Obama overspends or wastes money, or loses money on things like Solyndra, it is a tax on every person in America in the form of higher prices for everything you use.
In this way we the public blame the sellers of products and he gets to pretend he isn’t raising taxes.
In the end, he gets the money for government and the private businesses and the middle class pay the price on everything they use with their weakened dollars.

If the government can hide taxes in your airfares, then they can carry out their hidden agenda and quietly increase their taxes. (Yes, such talks are already underway.)
And if they can do it to the airline industry, what’s next?
As the transparency leader and most consumer-friendly airline, Spirit DOES NOT support this new USDOT mandate. We believe the better form of transparency is to break out costs so customers know exactly what they’re buying.
